Minor Update, March 18th (GMT) Report by Getti

A black rider triumphing over his opponent, as he glides towards victory

Minor Update, March 18th

In the early hours of the morning, while all was calm across the land, an elite team of riders assembled to bring recuperation to the people. Acting swiftly and with precision, they exercised a superior level of excellence on all who crossed their path.
The armies of the infamous Defenders, outnumbering the riders 5 to 3, attempted to stop the might of the elite cavalry, however were ultimately crushed in their feat, as the superior skill and organization of the riders would prove their triumph.

No, it's a joke that Cora was said that I had defenderist morals. :)

For whatever reason you were banned from the TBR offsite forum, asking publicly to be unbanned is probably the worst way to go about getting unbanned.

100% delegate hit percentage. Awesome job, everyone.

Does that make any difference if tags are not done in time?

*Angry TBR Secretary*

I get contacted about the Acheron issue after the update, and answered that:
[8:45:10 AM] Corvus Corax "Cora":
Put delegate access temporary Non-exec if you want avoid tag.
it's our protocol which works here in these matters, nothing personal.

Of course, if tags are not done by pointmen, there are no point to do that at all. Over 11 hours after the update MUST be enough for tagging duties.

People whom cannot do / do not make their tags in time correctly cannot get promotions beyond Private First Class in tag raiding activities.

People who do not tag their regions, do not need to be point.

Kleo and Fastest Switcher could probably make 60+ hits during minor update and possibly break the record of 75 hits during major update.

It is not that good achievement that it may look at first glance. Anyway, we had fun, once again... and because there were no Fendas against us, we didn't have to be accurate in our jumps, just gallop across updating taglands with minimal effort. :)

Two raiders is minimum requirement for any kind raiding. The Ultimate Core of our business. A Delegate candidate and who gives one endorsement. Reason why there will always exist "raiders" in NationStates. We are good in a profession of electing delegates. :p

Hello yes I have a minor complaint.

Every time I see The Black Riders invade a region it's always the same copy/paste stuff in the WFE for that region, and it gets boring. Can y'all spice it up a bit or something? Get some variety going! Put some love into it!

In principle The Black Riders tagging protocol doesn't prevent individual pointmen from customizing every single tag they have, following certain, general guidelines when doing so. However, standard tag format is designed to minimize non-essential work and make tagging duties faster to do. It is also our 'brand'.

Tags are important part of our recruitment methodology, and in that sense improvements could be wise to do... Maybe. But, why change functional and successful concept? At least not because some random native considers it as an eye sore!

I've been around to see plenty of regions my home has embassies with get raided and it just seemed to me like "Oh the Black Riders raided X again." While having an instantly recognizable "brand" is good, if I were raiding I'd want to inject a little style into it, own it a bit more, you know? Anyway that's just my two cents, thank you for bothering to read my opinions.

We're the guys with the "boring" standard WFE's, it's our thing. Our allies, the Black Hawks, are the ones that "inject style" into it. So, if you ever wanna join the dark side of NS, just know ya have options.

The whole point of having a raiding group with a hierarchy and defined things such as WFE's is to promote organization and unity.
I will admit though, sometimes when I am feeling a little spicy myself, I don't use the regular TBR flag on regions, but instead a similar flag with a slightly grayer/lighter saturation! :D

It is probably something to be encouraged, to a point. But try seeing it from our shoes, would you really want to make custom tags for a big number of regions after a longass raid?

Yeah, Kleo. We hit for example 50 regions in an update, 35 of them have active founders (relatively). 25 of those 35 tags at targets with alive founder are gone after few days. Some of those 15 founderless regions are detagged too, shortly after (again relatively).

We do this day after day, week after week, month after month, thousands of tags (some about 15000+ so far in history of TBR Second Era). Where are that people who really would want put their time for customizing quantities of tags, that won't necessarily stay too long on WFEs?

Then there are also other reasons why we have relatively strict tagging protocol. TBR cannot take openly stances on it's WFEs as a purist gameplaying raider organisation open for all folks interested about The Art of Raiding. That limits and also requires certain self-discipline from TBR pointmen who may do some customizations here and there.

TBR is not army who fights or represents other then it itself. That is basic norm also in our tagging protocol.

Everything said above, and plus it looks badass. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also, when its 2 am, the raid just ended and you've got a bunch of regions to tag, copy/paste is wonderful.

Pretty much this. TBR is military discipline incarnate, and standard tags do good in confirming that.
