I've got to agree. I was thoroughly disappointed with the news he put forward.

It would be better to consider becoming a columnist for the existing warzone weekly that Khron puts out rather than starting a totally new and even bigger in scope and therefore harder to pull off report.

That is kind of what I meant TRR is a big and collaborative undertaking with many authors and researchers working on it. Better to consolidate the efforts to put out a warzone report than to splinter them.

I've intentionally tried to avoid doing TRT-style reporting because it's overly political and sometimes downright gossipy. If there's anything we don't need in NationStates, its another newspaper that takes opinions on gameplay politics that are already sorely overwrought. My vision for TWW is to provide a relatively neutral paper that focuses on Warzone events, recognizing the achievements and failures of the diverse groups that pass through.

So with that in mind, yes, columnists are welcome. Just please, don't try to be TRT. Great topics? Interview with a military group involved in a Warzone, or talking about zombie preparedness plans across the Warzones, or talking about how Warzones don't fit neatly into common views on R/D. Bad topics? Anything to do with feeder or sinker activities that has no impact on the Warzones.

In fact, I'd really appreciate it if more people did want to write about Warzone topics -- it makes my life easier, because I'm not nearly as free as I was when I started TWW.
