Warzone Antarctica reporting here in the somewhat-official warzone thread. As everyone knows, Warzone Antarctica is the somewhat-official warzone of all the official warzones.

The Spear Danes are trying their hand at Warzone politics in Warzone Australia. Support for the Osirian Government In-Exile is greatly appreciated.

I don't know whether WZAU is supposed to be Warzonist, a TGW colony, the exiled Osiran government, or a confusing mishmash of all three.

Someday I need to get around to taking over a Warzone.
Never underestimate the power of cynicism, pessimism and negativity to prevent terrible things from happening. Only idealists try to build the future on a mountain of bodies.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

Warwick Z Codger, one-time Council of Maat member of Osiris (before I promptly went inactive right after as I discovered that GCR politics isn't for me) presents his support for the Osirian Government In-Exile and has endorsed the rightful Rightful and True Pharaoh of Osiris, The Almighty Jesus Whale.

Much like the first time, the "government-in-exile" was extremely short-lived. ;)

I still think it'd have been more fun waiting 24 hours to really have the satisfaction of deposing him.

And would have made me reading up on the whole history of the affair much more worthwhile. I had all my talking points prepared to parrot.

He's welcome to the Warzones any time and I'll make him delegate if I can to make up for the other regions he couldn't.

Man this has been going on for a long time, how are the Warzones doing?

I don't believe Reploid Production's Warzones are going on any better or any worse than before. They aren't doing, they're existing.

The mechanics of Warzones haven't changed in over a decade. The only changes of Warzones like ROs are things every region gets.

They literally aren't any better or worse than before as it always has been what you made of it.

Warzone Australia is still the funkiest biscuit joint in town. Don't designed a special TNP biscuit flag to use for the next time they raid us. TEP also raided us recently and left a nice haiku about biscuits.

Warzone Europe will also last for a long time.

Warzone Airspace will last forever. Crisisies has 4 months to overtake my delegacy length. He probably deserves it as he was in Airspace from since beginning with me and one of the reasons I can credibly claim the Airspace community has lasted over 7 years. It's win win for me, either he gets it or my record continues for longer, though I don't think I'll be taking Welchy's record from 2004-2016 in WZ Africa. Welchy record was only 128 days iirc, in 12 twelve years no body wanted to stay there longer.

Speaking of WZ Africa it is probably the most interesting region atm. A group called The Amish Republic has colonised it, in the actual sense of working with the natives there to see how the colony could fit in the greater TAR group. They are discussing laws and votes and stuff. Some are ok with it some are not. I find it interesting as a study in how imperialism works where people have to bargain with their occupiers, since the residents don't want to just leave and as a warzone they can't have expectations of being defended or liberated.

Ofc it could all change tomorrow if it was raided raiders and defenders have no issues raiding Warzones.

He had exams around that time so he only logged on once a week at most. Happily no one was paying him any attention and anyone who did got chased off by a TYW pile.
