Who is the oldest active member of NationStates?

I'm on page 35, but there are dozens older than I, including one who has already posted here.

While [violet] and some mods were the first to register, after that it was just whomever checked it out first and created a forum account in doing so. The bulk of nations are not in any particular order, although after many pages one might discern a time line going from 2009 to 2014.

I recommend just wait for a population censes and see who has the highest population. Since population builds up over time at a steady rate the oldest nation will probably have the highest population in Nation States. That is unless your including nations from the boneyard.

As already stated in the thread, nation population is not a good indicator for longevity for a number of reasons.


Still, aren't those Nak Nak nations from Wysteria still active?

Ditto. I have no idea when in December, but I founded Blackbird in December 2002. Of course, I'm not "active" nor have I been continuously active, but hey, I'm active enough to see this post, so that's something!

How many Nov. 2002's are still around? Lamoni is one of the few that I've played with, and I don't remember whether or not Ctan and Siri from November.

NationStates was originally launched November 13 2002. Thus began the period of Antiquity.
Dates were first assigned around November 27,28 2003, but there were some errors on the first day or so of dating. Thus ended the period of Antiquity.
