Over the past few years one of the most culturally vibrant areas of life in The North Pacific has been around the religion of Flemingovianism.
TNP has received through this many benefits over the years (clickies so you can check it out):
A temple,
A religious court – the Fiqh – for arbitration of civil complaints. Since the TNP courts are so piss-poor, this was a welcome addition to regional life.
A growing canon of scripture, which provided an ongoing commentary on the region’s life.
A hymn book, now containing over five pages of hymns, again providing a humourous and at times poignant running commentary on regional life. (this is the most fun bit)
An unexpurgated hymn book, for those hymns for which viewer discretion is advised.
Plus other casual writings, which in the past have included “fifty shades of UDL” (an erotic novel) and “Alice in Northpacificland”.
However, fair disclosure, Flemingovianism has not been without controversy. It has ruffled feathers, and for a time the Temple of Flemingovia was closed down by the Root Administrator. There has been opposition ... but that has just added to the activity and vibrancy of the project.
I think Flemingovianism has outgrown the possibilities for development in TNP, and I am looking for another region to which to move the headquarters – and the activity – of Flemingovianism.
I have generally been focussed on TNP, so I do not know what is out there. What I am looking for is a large, active region (feeder or otherwise) that can see the possibilities in having a religion associated with their region. Somewhere which is not afraid of roleplay and which, in time, might be interested in having Flemingovianism as the state religion (a step the North Pacific has rejected).
What would you get?
Well … me for a starter. I am an active player, been playing Nationstates for ten years, and I have been described as one of the more creative and imaginative players around. I will still have admin and other duties in TNP; but for as much time as I can give, I am yours.
The Headquarters of Flemingovianism in your region, with hymns, scriptures, etc.
