Senatorial Separation and Re-elections Act
AWARE conflict arises from governmental elections in Tychrome.
AWARE that the laws in our region are voted on by government officials, and not a regional board of elected senators
DEEPLY SADDENED by the libel written about said candidates,
THUS DETERMINED to prevent such loss of public image, and the unfairness of the latter
THE REGIONAL ASSEMBLY hereby decrees:
The new bills proposed by members of Tychrome shall be voted on by an elected board of three to five senators, to promote both legality and provide a larger group of executives to vote on laws important to the fate of our region.
Senators shall be elected in this fashion:
On the first of every month, ALL senatorial seats will be up for re-election. Senators may serve unlimited terms, but may not serve more than two terms in succession, and all elections must be fair, with proof that all votes are not puppet-based. All candidates running for a senatorial seat must have been in Tychrome for a set amount of time (Recommendation: four weeks), and all citizens voting must have remained in Tychrome for a less-significant amount of time. (Recommendation: two weeks) This time-bracket assures that no puppets of a larger invasion will rise to usurp our government and elected officials. All decisions of the elected Senate may be vetoed by our current Executive, though this executive veto can, in return, be prevented by a 4/5 majority in the elected Senate. This system of checks and balances will make sure that no house of government will have the power to control the region in its entirety.

On the Problem of Puppets in Votes
AWARE that the ‘democracy’ in our region is often hindered by puppet votes.
AWARE that we could not truly call this a vote of the masses, but a vote of few behind-the-scenes puppet masters.
DEEPLY SADDENED by the falsity cloaked in the façade of justice,
THUS DETERMINED to prevent such loss of democracy, while preserving our core values, that make Tychrome the region we wish to reside in.
THE REGIONAL ASSEMBLY hereby decrees:
All public polls proposed by the members or executives of Tychrome shall be opened to all members, but only those of WA members will be counted, save in the possibility of a special case. This will promote both legality and provide a far more reliable group of individuals to vote on laws important to the fate of our region. All nations who would like to vote on issues in our Region may, provided they go through a trial session with our current Justice.
AWARE[/b that it is possible to join multiple nations into the WA for a limited time, but this will easily be stopped when the Moderating team catches them, and orders their owners to remove WA status from them. In the case of this happening, they would lose their WA status in the polls, making the task of ignoring them simple. All non-WA members who undergo a trial session with our current Justice will be numerated as WA members, until
1) The Justice deems them unworthy of their Pseudo-WA status
or
2) The next governmental election takes place.

[b]Judicial Duty Enlargement and Functionality Act
AWARE that the position of ‘Justice’ has never been used in recent history of the region Tychrome.
AWARE that quarrels are often settled through foul-mouthed disputes, and angry telegrams.
DEEPLY SADDENED that such issues are resolved through threats, while the position of Justice remains a solely titular one.
THUS DETERMINED to both provide functionality to the otherwise-monotonous position, and to settle disputes fairly, rather than allow them to pass without result.
THE REGIONAL ASSEMBLY hereby decrees:
Any nations that wish may telegram the current Justice of Tychrome, or post their dispute on the Regional Message Board, depending on the privacy that the case might require.
DEMANDING that the current Justice settles all disputes to the best of his/her ability, or else abdicates for a more competent individual.

A Bill on Bills
AWARE that many bills have been proposed and reposted in the last few days.
AWARE that many soon-to-be-laws stagnate after their conception, due to the reluctance to post a poll discussing it.
DEEPLY SADDENED that many individuals work very hard on their bills, only to have them die before reaching the Senate.
THUS DETERMINED to provide a much larger chance of bills being passed or vetoed.
THE REGIONAL ASSEMBLY hereby decrees:
All bills posted and properly tagged as such must be put up for public or senatorial poll within three days, the type of poll being determined by the importance of the bill. No bills may be suppressed from reaching democracy, or kept from the polls. All polls must be visible on the NationStates forums, and not hosted in an outside forum or website.
DEMANDING that bills be enacted on within three days of being posted, provided they are reposted at least once every 24 hours.
