I thought Osiris was TBH-lite. TBR and UIAF puppets? That's ridiculous :P

<@Eluvatar> Why is SkyDip such a purist raiderist
<+frattastan> Because his region was never raided.
<+maxbarry> EarthAway: I guess I might dabble in raiding just to experience it better, but I would not like to raid regions of natives, so I'd probably be more interested in defense and liberations

And then can defenders explain why defenders co-operating together doesn't make the defender group with less WAs a puppet of the others, which is the exact same thing the increasingly irrelevant, hysterical and ridiculous Topid is accusing Osiris of?

Because TITO does not need UDL to maintain control of 10kI. Ergo, demonstrably more independent than you as of late.

Also I'm not a defender. I must say if for whatever reason I was forced to rejoin R/D I'd choose R right now, but anyway I'm not speaking from a defender prospective, from a GCR prospective it does appear to me Osiris is just a joke.

Did you really just compare a founderless region's security concerns to foundered one? Come on Topid you know that's stupid

I get it though, y'alls job is to make raiders look somehow worse than defenders. Raider unity does not equal "x is a subset of y" where x and y are invader armies :P

UIAF doesn't have any units in Osiris, Weed. UIAF has troops in lots of other places, but not Osiris (Flags are your friends)

The question was asked of me why Osiris was more controlled by foreign influences than defender orgs that work with others. And there's your answer, without the Imperialists Osiris would not exist in its current form. That is not true of those referenced defender orgs. Is it fair that TITO/UDL/FRA don't have to protect their own regions? Probably not, founders suck, I'd certainly agree with that. But, that's hardly relevant.

@SS: Checked and saw the flags when I posted, so you can't pull that. You were down to a couple though, so it is possible you're fully withdrawn by now, I haven't checked since the above post. ;)

I checked less than an hour after your post. There were no UIAF troops then, and there weren't when you first got there.

Either you halucinated, lied or don't know the UIAF flag

It's possible. The flag I saw (twice) on the endorsement list was the yellow one with the black weird creature-thing in the middle. Maybe I'm confusing UIAF with someone else.

EDIt: Yep, must be, because upon getting off my lazy to go check, I still see the flag I thought to be UIAF on the endorsement list.

Easy Cerian. Also... I find the fact that you accuse someone posting with a nation called Weed of possibly hallucinating.... hilarious

Alright. :)

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

So that I will know this in the future, if that isn't a UIAF flag, what is it? I've been operating under the assumption this was UIAF, since this: The United Imperial Armed Forces

That is the current UIAF flag, and no nation endorsing Detective Figs has it.

I told them to pick a better design post-Albion's inclusion. They refused to agree. :p

:eyebrow:

UIAF is not currently deployed in Osiris.

Do you not like the flag, Cerian? I've grown rather fond of it.

Ohhh, I'm bad at reading, I was talking about two things at once. And now I'm fully caught up. Yes, no UIAF member is deployed in the actual region of Osiris, I never said there were currently UIAF members deployed in Osiris.

I liked the old one. Never been a fan of Yellow - ever/at all.
