Least favorite thing?

What happens to be the worst thing about NS in your opinion?

Mine would happen to be the lack of any real true gameplay features. I mean, you can't personally assign ministers, have no control over important issues, not even the ability to make an actual declaration of war except in the forums. >:( Kinda irritating, considering that this game has been around for almost 10 years now.

I really think that if this site and game is to stay really active for years to come, it needs actual gameplay.

NationStates is a political simulation. The game is democratized through the lack of more features, such as war and trade. No nation is better than another. Even founders, who have complete control over their region, are democratized because nations will leave the region and found their own if the founder is a jerk.

Anyone can pass a resolution in the WA, coup a GCR or get elected president of a ginormous region. All it takes is persuasion.

If someone doesn't like NS, they should try other games, cuz you know, like, the Internet is democratized.
