While I question whether the population gains received for it will actually be worth the money or not (kind of a subjective judgement at the end of the day, though), this has undoubtedly made an otherwise unremarkable, unimportant and unknown region into one with far more fame/infamy. Whether it will translate to lasting awareness of the place by a large number of people is yet to be seen since it's too early to judge. And tbh, I am not exactly rolling in money and I end up spending a fair bit quite regularly on raves and other assorted things that would not be viewed as great investments, so I wouldn't really look down on someone who wants to spend $107 on NS, even if it doesn't seem worth it in whatever context to a lot of people. I think this is really just more a matter of people being pissed off with the place for recruiting from them and looking for reasons to smear the region and recruiter that did it rather than a genuine issue with how the person spends their money.

On another page in this thread. I bring home about 318 dollars a week.110 dollars is around a 3'rd of a paycheck. I was able to afford it thanks to the temperatures dropping. Less money going toward AC! I feel like I have extra money once Fall and Winter gets here!

Nope! Arkansas never gets cold enough. Though we did have one night where it was -16F (-27C) but extremes like that are rare. Summer is the terrible season where it is so hot you can't breath! It's like that phrase from Game of Thrones but reversed.
