The seconds draft is a good start. Perhaps it could be a design along the lines of the Grenadine flag

Hello, I am wanting to use an Admit me Free flag (in the spoiler) however I am having trouble finding a good HD version that will look good once uploaded on here so I was wondering if someone could remake it from scratch so that it works well on this site. I would also appreciate if the stars are made straight and even instead of crooked as they are seen in the flag. Thanks my dudes.

Hi, does anyone have any tips or advice on designing a flag for your own nation? I not asking for someone to make me a flag, because I actually don't really know what I want exactly. My current flag is ok, but I'd like something that "pops" a bit more.

So, what do people generally do to work out what symbols, design, colours etc. they're going to use?
