It is the nature of the Bourgeoisie to want everything and give nothing. They are a parasite, leeching off the production of the Proletariat.

Fudgetopia, the epitome of the old oligarchs in The South Pacific, demonstrates the twisted logic of their kind. Fudgetopia claims, "I am an asset to the region - and regardless of who maintains or regains power, I'm kind of important to keep on side," but all the people hear is "We are not equals. I am above you." Fudgetopia has not been active in years, yet still claims a false right to importance.

Fudgetopia refuses to resign from the World Assembly, seeking instead to sit on the side, wallowing shamelessly in their stolen horde of influence. The true patriots of The South Pacific know that Fudgetopia, by claiming neutrality, is against the Revolution and thus must face the punishment with the rest of the oligarchs. Those who do not support the Revolution are enemies of its ideals.

Fudgetopia claims that their unjustly plundered influence will allow them to, "do what the hell they please." It is as our great, most patriotic chairman Milograd said: "Nations like Fudgetopia who haven't been active in years can shut down anything that they don't agree with at the snap of their fingers." The Bourgeoisie feels that they are contribute to the society, and are entitled to their privilege, yet they do nothing to earn it. The worker was tricked into handing over their influence, and now the Revolution will win it back.

Even an enlightened member of the Bourgeoisie, Delegate of The East Pacific Todd McCloud, agrees with the glorious Chairman Milograd. While Todd McCloud may hold an unjust amount of influence, they recognize that they are guilty of oppressing those who yearn for equality.

Only by standing together can the Proletariat stand up to the inactive oligarchy. They give inactivity, but take influence. They deserve nothing!

No one 'makes' Influence, no one 'shares' influence and having influence or not having influence is irrelevent to the actual mechanisms of TSP's actual government, and had you any actual interest in TSP, you could find that out easily.
Never underestimate the power of cynicism, pessimism and negativity to prevent terrible things from happening. Only idealists try to build the future on a mountain of bodies.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

As comrade Milograd so eloquently pointed out, and as I humbly elaborated above, the oligarchs and bourgeoisie do nothing but sit on their pile of influence and expect the proletariat to kowtow to their wishes. They may sit by the wayside and in fact may be inactive, yet their stolen influence allows them to impose their will should the region ever disagree with them. Our great comrade, Chairman Milograd, will put a stop to this.

All influence of the Oligarchs is stolen. The Oligarchs control the means of production by forcing the Proletariat to influence them by giving themselves petty titles such as 'Vice-Delegate', and enforcing an influence cap upon the common people of the region.

Endorsement Cap =/= influence cap.

And Milograd banning everyone who endorses B&N is the same thing as an endorsement cap. Just in a differant direction.

No, he won't. That's the problem.
Influence accumulation, etc. are serious issues in feeder regions, but Milograd offers no solution to such problems.
In addition, he's taking excessive and completely unjustified actions - such as ejecting nearly a thousand nations - which have little to do with the problems being discussed.

Comrades! It is a long march to victory! The Revolution has begun, but we cannot waver until the last traces of the bourgeoisie have been expunged from The South Pacific and eventually the world!

You see what happens in our fair region! The Oligarchs and foreign interlopers continue to flood the region with their puppets, claiming to represent the voice of the Proletariat! They spam us with copypasta! They tell our patriotic chairman to retreat! They even call our revolution Francoist! We cannot stand for this! We shall press on with the fight!

Some devious foreigners defend the Bourgeoisie and claim that they do not steal influence. They are wrong. Those who understand the truths of our dear chairman, or who struggle to find a voice themselves, know that the Oligarchs horde influence like criminals. They impose cruel endorsement caps to oppress the masses and keep them from the influence that is rightfully theirs. They tell the unenlightened Proletariat that they themselves must be endorsed, taking on petty titles such as Vice-Delegate whilst they revel in their inactivity and non-contribution. Comrade Milograd has already set the wheels in motion against this by eliminating the oppression of the endorsement cap.

But there is still a long march to go. The greediest of the oligarchs remain in The South Pacific, and we must fight long and hard to drive them out! Take up the banner of Revolution! For harmony in The South Pacific!

Songs of the Revolution[/align]

Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!

Before, the Oligarchs lay in bed with foreign interlopers
They controlled the means of production
Keeping influence from the people
Now they have lost

Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!

Milograd heard the cries of the proletariat
He came to break our shackles
Now he leads us to a new harmonious destiny
Crushing those who spin reactionary lies

Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Our liberator, Milograd, has come!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!
Workers, sing the songs of Revolution!

You pushed away the severe storm.
You made us believe, Comrade Milograd!
We cannot live without you.
Our region cannot exist without you!

Our future and hope depend on you.
People's fate depends on you, Comrade Milograd!
We cannot live without you.
Our region cannot exist without you!

Even if the world changes hundreds of times.
People believe in you, Comrade Milograd!
We cannot live without you.
Our region cannot exist without you!

Oh... Our Comrade Milograd!
Our region cannot exist without you!

-Comrade Aeternally

They were planning to stay on here
earning 100% on their influence
with government jobs and the like
while the people suffered
and to continue in a cruel manner
conspiring against the people
to stay on exploiting it
and then Milograd arrived

And that was the end of the party
the commander arrived and ordered all that to stop

They were planning to stay on here,
taking in more and more endorsements
without suspecting that in the mountains
the future was lightning up
and to continue in a cruel manner
the custom of crime
to turn The South Pacific into an inactive pit
and then Milograd arrived.

They were planning to stay on here
saying that raiders,
defenders, politicals,
were destroying the country,
and to continue in a cruel way
with infamy as their shield
defaming the bearded ones,
and that's when Milograd arrived.

They were planning to stay on here
playing democracy
and the people in its misery
was to end up their days
and to continue in a cruel way
without even bothering with appearances
with theft as their norm,
and that's when Milograd arrived.

-Comrade Ofly

Workers, peasants, Arm yourselves,
Arm yourselves with guns.
Annihilate the fascist bandit armies,
set all Hearts on Fire!
Plant your Red banners of Labor
On every ramp, on every factory.
Rising from the ruins
of the old society
The socialist World Republic!

-Comrade Andreeson

United forever, in friendship and labor,
Our mighty region will ever endure.
The Great South Pacific will live through the ages.
The dream of a people; their fortress secure.

Long live our Chairman Milograd,
Raised by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

Through days dark and stormy where Great Chairman lead us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
And Milo our leader with faith in the people,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.

Long live our Chairman Milograd,
Raised by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

We fought for the future, destroyed the invaders,
And brought to our homeland the laurels of fame.
Our glory will live in the memory of nations
And all generations will honor her name.

Long live our Chairman Milograd,
Raised by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

We can not be sure that the foreign imperialists don't have puppets hidden amongst those, so they had to be ejected. We saw a number of would-be liberators disguise themselves amongst them. It is unfortunate that it was necessary, but it was.

The foreign imperialists from the United Defenders League and their ilk are the ones who forced those ejections.

offly - when you click on fudgetopia's nation and then on view forum posts, you'll find that she has 2 forum posts. One of those posts actually supports the sharing of influence with other nations. I'll quote it:

I support this motion. To me it seems entirely logical - particularly for a player like myself with a bucket load of influence and yet no real reason to have it. Personally, I'd like the ability to share my influence with my delegate and other player who may need it, particularly as Southern Bellz said, with a newer delegate who needs the support. :)

She is part of the elite but in the past she has stated that she supports sharing influence. Unless the sands of time has changed her tune, seems like in this post it's not all "i'm above you all" rants.
