Farewell, Unibot. From what little time I spent with you in conversation, it's good to have known someone as understanding as you. Makes me wish I'd joined NS sooner. I should've asked more about your exploits, but I'm sure there are others who can tell the tale. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your theses and will continue to draw from them. Your analysis on nation categories and left-right spectrums was particularly helpful for me in figuring out game mechanics in relation to real world ideologies, and partially inspired me to create a regional center for helping newcomers to get their bearings. I'm sorry about these recent turn of events, and hope it had nothing to do with your leaving. And.. I do keep my promises. Good luck out there, defending an entirely new region.

Tim, I am –so–, –so– glad you decided to become a defender and I hope it’s been such a treat as having you around has been for me.

Firstly, I'm just lost for words, with this. The fact that I got mentioned here is such a huge honor.

Unibot, oh Unibot. We've had some fun times, old friend. I remember my first memory of you. You were trying to write Commend Just Guy, right after Guy had gotten elected the Delegate of 10000 Islands. For some reason, I decided that you were obviously a horrible troll and went back to ignoring the Security Council's existence. It's interesting, that out of all the memories I have of my first few days in NS.. you happen to be stuck in the most memorable one. Damn you, you silly troll.

Either way, it's been a fun ride. We've had our ups. We've definitely had our downs, usually resulting in swear wars at each other. No matter what, though, I'm happy to call you a friend.

You've left a mark on Nationstates like no other, and I'm not even sure what this next Unibot-free Era will bring. It's going to be an interesting adventure. If you were looking to get in the NS History Books, bud, then you've definitely succeeded at splattering your name across 3+ years of NS History.

We haven't always see eye to eye but I do genuinely have a lot of respect for you and am extremely impressed in how successful a career you have carved out in this game. But at the end of the day it is just a game, and am glad to see you putting real life ahead of it. I'm sure you will do well in life and hope you stop by now and again just to see how your legacy (the UDL) is doing.

Ok now, that's just creepy. I 'chose' to quit NS on the 4th of April, but today I had the feeling I should check the gameplay forum today. So perhaps I should make it official - I am leaving NationStates. I will start a separate thread for this, so as not to steal Uni's discussion.

Unibot, it was a pleasure being able to talk with you, and it was a pleasure gradually going from raider to defender in the course of a year. I also had a great time when we fought each other for control of [region=Ether]. Despite my strong in-game convictions against the WA, they do, in reality, not matter. What is more important is that we had fun playing a particular part in the game, and I am glad to have played both in opposition to your gameplay views and in favor of your gameplay views. Know this: although you were once called the whore of the WA by Gatesville, and although my kind tend to dislike defenders, I have come to see one's view of defending can be independant of their view of the WA because of you. Thank you for being such a good enemy, general, leader and player.
