First of all, you know very little.

Second, if it's unrelated to NS then keep it out of the NS channel.

Third, if you want to use moderation as a weapon or claim that it is "out of context" - it is not for the purposes of demonstrating your motives - I can simply circulate the log in its entirety across the NS offsites and then you can come up with something new to hide behind.

I honestly don't get why everyone is condemning the UDL for this. Espionage ought to be an unfortunate, but accepted facet of gameplay.

The problem is that it happened in a neutral/centrist feeder region. If this happened in a raider region, I don't think anyone would be making a big deal out of it.

I think in espionage in most cases the spy hides their loyalty to their organization. If Rav had hid her true identity in TNP this might be more legitimate espionage. It'd still be controversial and wrong, but the issue here is that Rav did not hide that she was loyal to TNP and claimed to be able to hold those responsibilities separate. At that point, you can't claim to be a spy anymore, and to abuse your power there is a great misuse of trust. If I come to you and say, why yes, I'm an FRA member, but I can keep those interests from interfering with my interests here and leadership/members gave me that faith/trust, then it's pretty low in my book to betray it.

If you are talking about the logs linked by the prosecution in TNP's trial, those were voluntarily given up by the UDL administration at the time to TNP authorities investigating the matter.
