Over the past days, I've been taking progressive steps in a new direction. When you enter this world - You don't leave it in the same state as you've came in - life should be maliable and progressive, so I took the initiative of legalizing same sex marriage, and am nudging my state in the direction of secularism as oppose to religious philosophy. Secularism is the only true way to freedom. If a part of a nation isnt catholic or christian at all, they will feel supressed. Diplomacy with other nations, such as the Great Islamic Empire, will also improve.

Some issues such as the pro-abortion issues can also have weird effects on other fields like Compassion and Happiness (I think), so there is always that benefit too if you're looking to buff those.
