Sentient Robotics, AIs, and Automatons.

Okay, so what would you call a civilization where the majority or all of it's population are sentient machines, AI, automations, ect. This can include previously carbon-based life that has transitioned to automations. Think like the Prometheans from Halo 4, or the Minions from Ascendancy.

If there is no term, what would you call it?

Such civilizations would be referred to as cybernetic (if they were previously organic and ascended) or robotic (if they evolved or were created fully robotic and have no organic lineage).

We suppose we could be referred to as a "robotic society," but we tend to avoid such terms due to the fact that primitive cultures attach the wrong connotations to such a description. (We are fully sapient, so our society is not mindlessly programmed or any of that.)

In normal usage, our society is simply society - the same as how biologicals don't go around calling their nations "biological societies." When you are on Cybertron, it is just assumed that you're talking about Decepticon society when you use the word because that's the only society on the planet.

If those beings are mostly based on humans (uploaded humans, or at least based on human values and feelings), I would call it transhuman.

If those beings are alien to us, can't be considered advanced humans in a different shape, then robotic or cybernetic.

Aye, but look at my origins. We believe that the only true machines or avatars of such are only spawned by human hands and human hearts. Anything else, such as yourself (Xeno-constructed machines that are sentient and carry a blatant disregard for human, sacred above all, life.) are considered a blasphemy and to be hated and destroyed.
