I think expectations differ. I believe if you are selling your organisation as one that does no harm / defends then power grabbing or influencing a feeder or multiple regions is in fact the opposite of protecting sovereign rights. You are no longer protecting their sovereign rights but inflicting your own organisations agenda on the regions in question.
Each feeder / sink ultimately can take action to slow down outside influences but I guess if they are content with this situation then it's not going to change.
Barn door, horse bolted.

Just to correct you, Lazarus has mostly been pro raider these last few years. I can only think of three defenders who ever held any position of power in Lazarus: Harmie, me and Jeux.

True enough. More of a 50/50 ticket, trending towards raiders these days. I think that as long as you're in Lazarus though there will be a strong defender presence.

I dislike those who need to "be everywhere" and be a part of everything and all the big, important regions, when they could be doing more good as an indiviual member of a few communities - in an effort to help and guide and be a member of them rather than being a part of multiple massive communities in an effort to better themselves or their seperate organisation.

I'm somewhere inbetween a raider and a very small scale cosmopolitan, believing one should only be a part of a few smaller, midsized communities (as seen through my activity in Europeia and my region Ainur). I could make an effort to spread myself to thin taking a more active role in Balder, TSP, etc but that wouldn't be the best - one should only be a part of a few communities, stay true to their identity and be the best citizen they can be. We should be making an effort to better indiviual communities in order to better the NS world rather than make an effort to better ourselves.

Agreed. UDLs and raiders are kidding themselves when they say there's no conflict of interest in spreading themselves thin all over the "big, important regions". The time that can be spent is one big conflict right there.

But alas, most are not out to "better individual communities", they are out for power and influence.

Interesting essay, ultimately inaccurate in, well, pretty much every way but it would take me a while to dissect this one and give a thorough analysis. I think, although people are quick to call Frak a loony, some of his ideas have actually become mainstream -- a backlash against cosmopolitanism and rising concerns of the UDL's influence in regions where we have high concentration of staff. Likewise, I see a possibility of some foresight in this part:

He has reduced Francoism to Francoterrorism, by depriving true Francoists of the support of their mother region.

Although, I have little doubt that the real ideas of Francos Spain were little more than power politics, latter elaborated on in a kind of neo-realist doctrine conjured up by Unlimited and co. with Proper Francoist Thought which justified the lack of democratization and the ostracization of those not friendly to the regime (which we called "Francoism")... I have rising concerns about the Krulltopia regime since it has dropped Francoism as a doctrine officially and associated itself with active feeder coupers. I'm curious whether the region is just planning to reverse the political residue of the PRP and go back more to the region's political roots.

Did we forget to invite him to the sekret coupers meeting, where the NPOs evil plotz and the true identity of Franco would be revealed?
