Mazeria is glad to see that NAZI EUROPE has fallen, and is also glad to have taken part in the operation.

Cheers. The Red Fleet is wrapping up the lockdown of a region, and once we're through, we'll be moving our forces in to support. In the meantime, have a few cases of rum, courtesy of the Admiralty. :)

You didn't know? It wasn't exactly top secret, I thought half the world knew.

I'm in the same boat as Tano; in the half of the world that didn't know. Well, I was probably playing Wolfenstein during update, so I still got to fight nazis at least. :p

The Sekhmet Legion of Osiris is glad it had the opportunity to work with the NPA and other friends and allies on this historic operation. It was very well executed, our hat's off to those involved in planning and command.

Excellent work, all who is/was involved. It's a good feeling to see that region go down.

Why has it taken you and the rest of the FRA so long to liberate it?

Yeah, I know, right?

I had it for nearly 1 year and 80 days. It was the same password German Dragons gave me when he thought LWU was coming to his aid right before "Liberate Nazi Europe" passed. He never changed it.

Imagine my surprise when I tried it on a whim a few days back and, lo and behold, my puppet was moved in, no questions asked.

Because the FRA has an opt out policy when Nazi regions are concerned (aka no one wants to defend it). Now, if you have a problem with me or the FRA (or defending in general, as usual) then why not direct it to our FRA thread and not the TNP thread hmmm? :D

Declaration of Unibot as persona non grata

Effective immediately, the Government of The North Pacific declares Unibot, currently Delegate of The Rejected Realms, persona non grata in The North Pacific. We consider Unibot unwelcome in our regional forum, where his access has been restricted, we will be refusing to accredit him as diplomatic representative from any region or organization to our government, and we will be employing all means available to the government to block any future membership applications from him.

This decision is in response to the numerous statements Unibot has produced against The North Pacific during the last three months. In these statements, Unibot has attacked our political orientation, our diplomatic and military policy, our regional culture, our government at large and our elected officials individually. Rather than mere critiques, his statements have been openly hostile and obviously insulting to our region. Unibot has not hesitated to act deceptively or invent conspiracy theories in his desperate attempts to discredit us, and he has chosen to openly commend traitors to our region for their treacherous actions. The last straw in this series of relentless attacks came when Unibot, in a statement published on June 11, described the recent operation by the North Pacific Army in Nazi Europe as insulting to the memory of those who fought in World War II. After this deeply offensive and completely unwarranted remark, the Executive Council moved to issue this declaration.

This is not the first time that Unibot’s militant methods and fundamentalist beliefs have resulted in his expulsions from a game-created region; indeed, there have been multiple such occasions in the past. Despite this pattern of behavior, The Rejected Realms have chosen to elect Unibot as their leader, and we would be amiss not to address this fact. Regions are responsible for their elected leaders, and cannot disavow themselves of responsibility for their leaders’ actions. Citizens of The Rejected Realms must realize that by empowering a well-known extremist to represent them in the interregional scene, they are very quickly eroding their diplomatic standing.

The Government of The North Pacific has so far acted in good faith towards The Rejected Realms, consistent with our long-standing commitment to friendly relations with fellow game-created regions; and we have previously offered to discuss directly with The Rejected Realms any concerns they may have. This offer has been ignored by Unibot. What is more worrying though is that we have not seen any reciprocation of good faith from the citizens of The Rejected Realms either: Unibot’s statements against The North Pacific appear to be continuing unchecked and without any internal opposition. As a result, our commitment to continued relations with the Rejected Realms is becoming untenable. We hope that this statement will serve as a wake up call to the citizens of The Rejected Realms.

Sincerely,

~r3naissanc3r
Delegate of The North Pacific

A strong and bold move TNP, I commend you for that. I hope this pans out in the way you'd like it to and that relations with TRR can eventually resume their previous state.

Much of these sentiments are true in The East Pacific's case as well, and as such I would like to express our understanding and sympathy for this statement made by our ally, The North Pacific.

Regions and their community have undoubtedly the right to elect their own leaders, according to their own customs and laws, such right also existing for The Rejected Realms and it is not anyone's business to interfere in that process. Likewise, internal accountability for the actions of their leaders is their own prerogative. However, within the same strand of liberties lies the right of a region and its representatives to express dismay at the actions of persons supposedly representing another region, actions that can bear external and personal consequences too.

Whatever said region and representatives take away from that is, of course, their own business as well. One can only hope that the Delegate of a major GCR, an important region such as The Rejected Realms, will be able to find the necessary civility for basic diplomacy rather than a style of blatant derogation.

Bachtendekuppen,

Delegate of The East Pacific

Once again, the Puffin Delegate makes a beautiful statement.
