That's a lot of acknowledging and condemning without a lot of real consequences.

It's a trick to give the illusion that something is happening, when in reality nothing is.

turns out Souls is talking about CCoD's statement, not TNP's statements. That's alright

It’s putting lipstick on a pig as the old saying goes.

Only if CCD stands for Confederation of Cameron, David.

FFS Syb . Anyways, it was more than lipstick, although it was certainly long and went near the lip, allegedly anyways

Yes. However, dressing the pig in high heels and suspenders (as CCD have done) definitely requires a call to the RSPCA.

What exactly would you like them to do? Hitting embassy regions won't accomplish anything as CCD is now withdrawing those embassies. Best we can do is vote against anything that is authored by a member of that region or their allies.

Being politically isolated is itself no mean thing. CCD can be entirely isolationist and shrug this off, but the collective ego probably wouldn't stand for that.

You may be right.

But we will keep pressing on with our invisible scripts. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find our recent batch....

The North Pacific Army continues to do great work, including a recent defense of our ally Stargate from a poorly organised operation by Slatos. Naturally we condemn this invasion and will continue to stand by our ally and assist in their protection when that is required.

With this recent operation in mind, I thought I'd highlight some of the work of our NPA Leadership. These are the Generals that have continued to work incredibly hard to keep our Army consistently active and working in the best interests of The North Pacific and the implementation of our foreign policy, in some cases since the re-establishment of the army in 2012. The Ministry of Radio has commissioned interviews with these Generals and you can read or listen to them below.

I hope you enjoy them! Interviews with our favourite boomer General Quietdad of TNP and long suffering General Gladio II will be out soon.

I know, right? It generally isn't a good idea to go about raiding regions eleven days after your most important regional leader denounces raiders...

Statement on the occupation of Slatos

Greetings,

I am able to report that moments ago the North Pacific Army, in coordination with a coalition of allies including The East Pacific Sovereign Army, The Black Hawks, Karma, Lone Wolves United, Balder, and JTF have seized control of the region Slatos, the region that has raided a valued ally of The North Pacific, attempted to illegally infiltrate and spread propaganda within The East Pacific, and houses those who have committed offenses against members of TEP.

On February 9th, 6 days ago, the region of Stargate was invaded by military forces sent from Slatos. Fortunately, Slatos could not gain a foothold in the region thanks to a valiant defense by TNP’s best led by Colonel Bobberino and assistance given by TITO. Details on this operation can be found here.

In the recent past, various incidents have occurred in The East Pacific that have been committed by current and past members of Slatos. This involves spreading propaganda, attempting to utilise alts to gain illegal citizenship, and out-of-character harassment.

Transgressions against friends and allies of The North Pacific will not be tolerated, and will result in immediate corrective action. As such, the region of Slatos has now come under control of allied forces and will remain under that control for the indefinite future thanks to the valiant effort of the North Pacific Army and all other participating armies, and the superb leadership of the East Pacific Sovereign Army pointed by Feu de Glace and triggered by Lady Dominator

It must be more broadly recognized that invading an ally of The North Pacific will result in swift and decisive action diplomatically and militarily similar to what has occurred tonight. Furthermore, attempting to undermine, spread propaganda, and otherwise harm the stability of an allied region is a detestable act and The North Pacific will do everything in our power to assist the targeted ally in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Loyalty is a pillar upon which The North Pacific stands, and to not breach it we must swiftly act to defend and assist our allies when at all possible. We have demonstrated our commitment to this value through our actions this evening. Finally, I commend The North Pacific Army, Minister of Defence Trondstorm and all members of our army and allied forces on their successful mission.

Yours,
McMasterdonia
Delegate of The North Pacific

Kranostav
Minister of Foreign Affairs

Very well done! Everyone involved should be quite proud of their work this update, and I’m sure it was loads of fun being on a large-scale joint operation like that. Oh, but I only have one WA to give to my region - otherwise I would have been out there on the battlefield with you all. Let this be a lesson, though. The North Pacific and her allies stand tall! \o/
