Jamie Anumia elected Delegate

Following McMasterdonia's resignation from the Office of Delegate due to real life reasons, elections were immediately called to fill the vacancy. In the first set of voting, Eluvatar had a clear lead and had almost reached the majority requirement to avoid going to a run-off election. Blue Wolf II went to the courts to seek judicial review to determine if Eluvatar was in fact eligible to run in the election as he had recently served two terms of office.

The Court ruled that Eluvatar was in fact ineligible to run and new election had to be called. Eluvatar endorsed Jamie Anumia's candidacy for the office of Delegate. Jamie Anumia pulled ahead and defeated Blue Wolf II in the run off.

Following his election Jamie Anumia appointed his cabinet, retaining Mall, Romanoffia, Kiwi, and Alvino from the previous cabinet, and appointing McMasterdonia as Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Jamie outlines his plan for The North Pacific:

A successful delegate is a delegate who maintains activity and is able to maintain respect both at home and abroad.

As for my grand vision..good question. I don't have an 'end goal' as such - it will be more to continue the work established by our previous delegates and expand on it - I want TNP to be more active culturally, more active internationally as well as more active militarily - I want us to expand on our current operations and look at ways to further engage new members and get them involved in the NPA. I want TNP to make its mark on the nationstates world through both our actions as well as our words. I want us to strengthen our bonds with our fellow GCR's as well as tightening our relations with our current allies as well as seeking new allies.

Congratulations to Jamie Anumia!

From the Army
The last two months since the previous NPA update have gone by really quickly and while they have certainly had their ups and downs, I continue to be optimistic about the future of the NPA and our role as the military of the North Pacific.

Previously I've used this update to talk about our successes as a military but this time it seems more prudent to recognise the recent losses of the NPA. We have had roughly nine resignations / discharges from the military for a number of reasons including outside commitments but mainly resulting from insubordination, failures to follow orders or failing to respond to reasonably made requests. The NPA prides itself on being neutral in the R/D game and we always try and allow our soldiers to be active members of other militaries if they choose this path but even that must have its limits. So my one request is that the region take pride in our military for a change and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

Image

I would like to formally welcome Borndisaster, one of our new recruits who has proven to be a real asset to the army.

Changes? What changes, you say? To the credit of Mall, he has suggested that we split our forces into several groups to make better use of the recruits we do get and also allow soldiers to pick what sort of role they want to have in the NPA. A concept I am hugely in favour of. The current proposal being discussed by the NPA High Command allows for the military to be split into three parts:
 • The Regional Guard - As a member of the regional guard, you would remain on a contact list of people that would be contacted if we need to defend the region against rogue parties who might try and take the WA delegacy from the legitimately elected delegate.
 • The Auxiliary or Pilers - Pilers do not have to be around during either update but rather need only check their email, forum PMs or nation telegrams to check if they need to move and reinforce a position during any given time. The benefit of being part of this cross section is that you are not required to be online at update and will be given a rank. It is notable that you will not gain promotions as fast as the third force, the Updaters.
 • Special Forces or Updaters - Updaters as mentioned above, are required to be online close to update so that they might move into a region at a given time. Updaters will be promoted much faster than the Auxiliary and are also considered to be members of the regional guard and the Auxiliary.
These proposed changes are very exciting indeed and we welcome any feedback.

My favourite part of this job is recognising the hard work of dedicated soldiers. Borndisaster and Hileville are thus promoted to the rank of Corporal after assisting in recent missions and following orders to the letter. Alvino Castillion aka "Almond" has proven to be an exemplary recruit, always undertaking missions with diligence and professionalism, accordingly I congratulate him on making the rank of Colour Sergeant. Finally I would like to congratulate Kingborough on his promotion to Warrant Officer 2.

The North Pacific Army recently participated in an invasion of the Greater German Reich, with the South Pacific, Sovereign Confederation, and the Kingdom of Denmark. The Greater German Reich has been a serious annoyance to the North Pacific with it's constant adspam. The mission was dependent on when the founder would return, but overall is considered a success.

As always the NPA welcomes any requests for assistance, military co-operation or any new recruits who would like to be a part of our military.

Ninety Nine Problems, But Multiing Ain't One.

Yes folks, The North Pacific may got ninety nine problems, but World Assembly multiing is certainly not on-

...Oh, this is embarrassing. It appears I was wrong on that, and the number.

Recently, the Moderation Team of Nation States went on a banning spree against 108 different World Assembly nations in the North Pacific. The bans lit up the Regional Happenings in an instant, and many expected that the Updates were out of sync somehow. These suspicions were put to rest suddenly when it was discovered that the nations that were being banned all had two things in common...

They were all endorsing then Vice Delegate Blue Wolf and they all originated from the same player.

"It was like watching a dragon devouring its victims one-by-one." Johz told us, excitedly. "Enough to put the fear of Mod back into your heart, I'll say. Hallelujah!"
Image
Artist depiction of Moderator banning the World Assembly Multiing Puppets.

Indeed, there was much surprise and quite a bit a fear as bit by bit, they whittled at the puppets that were endorsing Blue Wolf. The 108 bans was a massive blow to Blue Wolf's endorsement count, which dropped drastically. Eventually, the banning subsided, though many in the region were still left gaping in the aftermath of the banning. In the end, many in the region talk about it as a moment when the system to detect multiing was absolutely undermined.

The Mentor Program

TNP's Newest Teachers... The Community Itself?

Yes folks, you heard me right. The community that makes up the North Pacific is now its teachers for new members in the North Pacific's Mentor Program. Spearheaded by the new Executive Council, the Mentor Program seeks to improve the quality and activity of the region as whole.

"The TNP Mentor Programme represents an ingenious development in the way we educate, inform and welcome new members to the region." Kiwi, the Minister of Defence stated. "It has tremendous potential to change TNP for the better for all concerned."

The Mentor Program as a whole is seen as a great boon to the region. Members sign up to the Ministry they desire to work with to be Mentors. Once a new (or old) member applies to receive Mentoring in that Ministry, they are assigned a Mentor. Over time, the Mentor learns how to give advice and develop a style of teaching, The "student" learns new skills and how to improve in the area of their interest, and both form closer ties and possibly friendships that could last a long time.

The Five Ministries will each have their own Mentor Program. This means anyone can learn the art of Role Playing, Gameplay, World Assembly resolution writing (and debate), Regional Foreign Affairs, and mass media writing. As the Mentor Program goes on in the region, students shall in time become teachers for new members as well.

The project has already begun under the watchful eye of the Executive Council. It is still too early to tell whether the entire project will be successful or if it will grind to a halt in failure.

The UDL Trials

Relations between The North Pacific and the United Defenders League hit an all time low when it was revealed that Ravania a member of the North Pacific Army and a Lieutenant in the United Defenders League had leaked a PDF copy of a thread in the North Pacific Armies private headquarters.

This was discovered due to a conversation between Unibot and McMasterdonia about introducing a NPA Deployment Override, that led to Eluvatar discovering logs that indicated that Ravania was responsible for the leak. This resulted in a heated discussion in the Regional Assembly, especially as some members were unhappy with the initial response and the suggestion that Eluvatar had been removed for showing loyalty to his home region.

The Interim Delegate Blue Wolf II ordered that embassies be closed and that cooperation with the United Defenders League cease immediately. Ravania has been formally charged and will face trial soon in the North Pacific Court. It is unclear how many other dual members of The North Pacific and the United Defenders League may be charged for their involvement at a later date.

The North Pacific appreciates the expressions of support the South Pacific, Osiris, and Sovereign Confederation in this matter. The North Pacific Wire will be following this matter through to conclusion, and will keep it's readership informed of events as they unfold.

Interesting reaction :P The multiing happened a while ago, a nation named United Koryo was responsible (we believe). About 100 nations or so endorsed the Vice Delegate to push his count up, allowing United Koryo to grow his endorsement level higher. The mods then deleted most of the nations, but ejected United Koryo, leading us to believe that he is responsible.

I admit that I clearly didn't notice that Alvino had not included that rather important aspect in his article

Special thanks to Wordy from TITO for her assistance in the early stages of developing a list of the nations involved. As the mods showed us, it was more widespread than we thought.

Labeling the story 'The ULD Trials' isn't exactly accurate. It is one member of the UDL who was/is also a member of TNP who has been charged.

The prospect of further trials is nothing more than sensationalism that will ramp up the probability of a witch-hunt against UDLers in TNP.

Because it's not as if another member of TNP was present in the logs, failed to come forwards and was later demoted by UDL for his part in things.

Personally I'd be interested to hear why Tim hasn't been put on trial yet seeing as he has again shown his priority is UDL over TNP.

Well alrighty then, but if that is the case then that piece should have gone through some serious editing.

It's not a massive blow to his endorsement count if he suddenly was signaled out for 108 faux endorsements and then lost them, that would be reverting to normal.

I read this article thinking we must have a new #2 in endorsements in the region.

But we don't.

The idea would have been for that to happen B Wolf. The nations endorsing Blue Wolf would have CTE'd, and he would have dropped below United Koryo, making him the new number two and closer to the Delegacy (hypothetically speaking). Again this was before Jamie was elected.

You are collecting quite the number of endorsements yourself.

The prospect of further trials is nothing more than sensationalism that will ramp up the probability of a witch-hunt against UDLers in TNP.

The reality is that Ravania will not be the only one to go on trial. There is no witch-hunt against any member/group in our region that obeys our laws, UDLer or not.

How wonderfully devious!

That would only work though if he outtarted BWII in legitimate endorsements after the fact...certainly not something guaranteed. Although I guess he thought bumping up the ceiling with faux WAs would help with that and also perhaps disincentive BWII from tarting too aggressively.

Still, sounds poorly executed. Also against the rules!

I think he wasn't only ejected but deleted...unless this is really old news in which case shame on you.

This was an enjoyable update to read — excellent work. It's always a pleasure to hear from TNP.

Out of curiosity, by the way, what was the name of the account that you were ejected from the WA on, McM? I may be mistaking you for someone else, but I thought you were ejected while serving as a vice delegate at some point. It's been puzzling me lately.

We do our best. The North Pacific Security Council is excellent at monitoring the region and keeping record of suspicious movement and the like. Eluvatar has made their job a lot easier with some of the scripts that he has provided to us. But nonetheless, the region, and I do appreciate your assistance Wordy. It also made me realize that I wasn't being unnecessarily paranoid ;) Though Blue Wolf was the one who decided to go and talk to the moderators about it :)

General Election

It was general election time again in TNP and with Delegate Jamie Anumia and Vice Delegate KiwiTaicho both retiring, it meant that two of the three positions up for grab wouldn't be defended by their incumbents! Crushing Our Enemies, outgoing Speaker, announced his intention to run again for the job.

Image
TNPers queueing to vote

7 long days later and TNP finally had a full list of candidates for the general election. Former Delegate McMasterdonia was going up against former Vice Delegate Tim and TNP regular Chasmanthe for the position of Delegate; Minister for World Assembly Affairs and former Court Justice Sanctaria faced off against the TNP stalwart and true blue-blooded Democratic Donkeys for the job of Vice Delegate; and former Deputy AG Belschaft challenged COE for his job as Speaker.

Image
McMasterdonia, Tim, and Chasmanthe sing for their votes

As TNPers went to the polls, candidates for every position campaigned vigorously in their jostle for votes. As the votes began to pour in it was obvious that McM and COE had clear leads over their opponents, but the Vice Delegacy race was much closer with Democratic Donkeys and Sanctaria competing for the lead.

At the end of the voting period, McMasterdonia was elected once again to the office of Delegate, COE remained in his own job, and Sanctaria proved victorious in the fiercely fought Vice Delegate race. Congratulations to the winners and best of luck!

Delegate Announces Cabinet

Image
The new Executive Council at work

Firstly, I'd like to thank the voters of the North Pacific for electing me to the office of Delegate once more. I appreciate the strong vote of confidence and trust that has been placed in me.

The Delegacy transition has been completed quickly and I already hold the position in-game as I am sure most of you would have noticed. Thank you to Jamie Anumia for making this process as quick as possible. In traditional style; a few things have propped up right at the beginning of the term. Osiris is undergoing a change of its governmental system that has caused some controversy and the Delegate of Lazarus has ejected and banned a couple of members of the Emerald Council from the region and subsequently resigned from office. There will likely be more on that later. For now, I announce that the my executive team moving forward will include;

The Minister for World Assembly Affairs - Reginald Carmichael (Sovreignry)

Reginald Carmichael will be taking over from Sanctaria as the Minister for World Assembly Affairs. You may know Reginald Carmichael as Sovreignry. Reginald has been involved in the North Pacific for some time and will bring a unique perspective to this role. He identifies as a NatSov which will produce quite different statements on resolutions to that of those written by the former Minister Sanctaria, and we both look forward to the debates that this will generate. Reg will also be advising our voters on matters before the Security Council an area that was previously the responsibility of the former Delegate Jamie Anumia. I look forward to working with Reg on World Assembly matters and in other cabinet discussions.

The Minister for Communications - Iro

I am pleased to announce that Iro will be taking the position of the Minister for Communications. Iro has been one of few TNPers to show an interest in developing a media presence for our region and with that in mind I have decided to appoint him to this position. Iro will be responsible for developing our media presence on the interregional stage and will share our articles across a variety of forums and on the NS forums. I am looking forward to working with Iro on this and hope that a media team can be developed to support him in this role. If you serve in another government position, you are still more than welcome to assist Iro in writing articles for our regional newspaper.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs - Sanctaria

Sanctaria will be continuing in the cabinet in the position of Minister for Foreign Affairs. Sanctaria was highly involved in the cabinet during the Osiris coup and subsequent events and his experience in TNP foreign policy and affairs has grown significantly over the past term of government. I trust him and value his input into our executive government and I believe that he will do well in this role combined with his position as Vice Delegate of the North Pacific.

The Minister for Culture and Entertainment - Lennart

I have decided to bring this position back to the cabinet table because I feel that it is an area that we were lacking in during the last term of office and I opposed the abolition of the position. Lennart has been involved in the North Pacific for a while now. Lennart is an active roleplayer and maintains comprehensive factbooks for his nations. He plans to oversee a revival of roleplay in the North Pacific and he will be responsible for organizing the joint Europeia-TNP Culture festival that we agreed to hold under our recently ratified treaty. I am glad to have him in the cabinet.

The Minister for Defence - Ash

Ash has agreed to take on the Defence Ministry. He has been actively involved in the NPA since joining the North Pacific and I fully expect him to do well in this role. He is in a similar position to me when I first took on the role of Defence Minister during the term of Delegate Blue Wolf II. The NPA's greatest issue at the moment is activity. This will be the core focus for the NPA going forward in the term, combined with the training of new members. The High Command of the NPA will support Ash in his new role, providing advice and assisting him should he require it.

All new Minister's are required to post the oath before assuming office. Don't forget to do so!

Special Elections

In keeping to TNP tradition of never going a week without needing an election, the region has been playing host to a number of special elections in addition to its regularly scheduled General Election!

It all started with elected Attorney General Blue Wolf II stopped turning up to work. Naturally the people were worried, but that worry soon turned to fury with cries of "how dare the Attorney General leave TNPers languishing without access to the Court system - doesn't he know that we thrive on court drama?!" being heard from the Regional Assembly. A recall vote was held and the Regional Assembly voted, by a large margin, to remove Blue Wolf from office. The shame.

A special election was held alongside the general election to fill the vacated office. Flemingovia, Punk D, and Belschaft all went forward as candidates, but Bel was forced to ask people to not vote for him because of concerns over whether or not he could do the job and be Delegate of the South Pacific at the same time. He remained on the ballot, but the real race was between former Attorney General Punk D and flemingovia, well-known sceptic of the TNP Court System. Punk D emerged victorious in the election.

Funk's empty seat

Court Justice Funkadelia recently went missing and, as a result of his absence, missed votes in the Regional Assembly and was subsequently removed as a member. Because of this, he was also kicked off the Court. Alas. The bright side though - more elections!

Nominations are currently ongoing and anyone who isn't already holding an office has been nominated, so it's likely this particular election might go on for a while. Who will win? It's anybody's guess, this is TNP after all. Find out the victor in the next Regional Update!

McMasterdonia presents Ash with the colours. Kiwi (l) and Borndisaster (r) look on.

The North Pacific Army (NPA) has recently undergone a changing of the guard, after long-serving Defence Minister Kiwi announced his retirement. McMasterdonia, the once and future Delegate, appointed Ash as Kiwi's replacement. During an interview with reporters as the new Defence Minister, Ash outlined his goals for the NPA moving forward: heavily recruiting to create the next generation of leaders, more training missions for NPA soldiers, and increased activity and participation to improve morale. "I appreciate the confidence and trust placed in me by McMasterdonia, and look forward to a productive term ahead working to protect The North Pacific and its interests," Ash was quoted as saying.

McM picks who's hot, then they all go chill at Sanc's place

With all the cool kids in TNP goin' to their ballot boxes and sayin', hey man, McMasterdonia sounds like a cool cat, it was time for the Delegate himself to come up and tell everyone what he thought about his friends. Cuz, you know, you can't be a cool Delegate without some cool friends.

"So, that Ash, he's got cool hair," McMasterdonia told his sidekick Sanc. "And Iro, he's got that style, you know? And Sov, he's got two names? That's where it's at. And Lennart, all right, he can come too, and Sanctaria, man, you want to? You can be, my, like, ambassador." To which Sanctaria said, "sounds cool," and nodded. McM and Sanc then proceeded to high-five.

Next day, McM's all like, "sup, guys, now you're cool with me, right?" And everyone was cool and they did their oaths cuz they were cool, and that was awesome, so then they checked with their moms to see if they could all come over. And everyone's folks were fine with that 'sept for Ash's mom, who was worried that he was gonna be hanging out with bad kids. But Ash's mom called Sanc's dad and he said that it was all okay, so they did it.

They went over to Sanc's place and they talked for a while. McM warned the other kids that it wasn't easy to be cool, and they had to, like, work hard. "No way, man!" said Sov. "I ain't gonna, like, work for other people."

Then they chilled and talked for a while about how the rival Osiris gang was all totally messed up. Sanc's mom brought down some Oreos and milk and there were some new cool kids on the block.

Changes to the Cabinet

Minister of Defence

Today, I announce that Blue Wolf II will serve as the new Minister of Defence for the North Pacific starting immediately in the role. This is following a discussion by NPA High Command and between myself and Blue Wolf II.

Blue Wolf II was the Delegate responsible for the reformation of the North Pacific Army and appointed me to serve as the first Minister of Defence of the new army in 2012. As Blue Wolf II has left the Security Council and now has a mobile WA nation, this combined with his well known military experience has placed him in the perfect position to lead the North Pacific Army in the months ahead.

Together we will be working on establishing clear goals for the North Pacific Army and BWII will be responsible for involving members of High Command and lower ranking officers in working to achieve these goals. The NPA is a regional military and must be well versed in all aspects of military gameplay, with our primary responsibility being to serving the regions interests and protecting and supporting our allies.

I wish him the best of luck and I hope to see the military return to high levels of activity.

Minister of Foreign Affairs

Firstly, I would like to thank Democratic Donkey's for his service in the position over the last month and a half or so.

For the new term ahead I have decided to appoint r3naissanc3r as Minister of Foreign Affairs. R3n has been an active participant in this region for quite a long time now and has previously served as Chief Justice. He is also one of the biggest contributors to law reform in the Regional Assembly.

The focus of the Ministry will be regular foreign updates (obviously), a review of inactive embassies and pursuing closer relations with our fellow GCR's.

The rest of the cabinet will be:

Minister of Communications: Iro
Minister of WA Affairs: Abacathea
Minister of Culture and Entertainment: Lord Ravenclaw

For various reasons, but mostly due to the lack of a goal for the Ministry, I have decided to disband the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I would like to thank Reginald Carmichael for his service in the cabinet.

Judical Election Results

The North Pacific has concluded elections for our new Justices and our new Attorney General. Congratulations to Chief Justice Crushing Our Enemies, perennial candidate and returning Justice Romanoffia, and finally, somewhat of a shock to us all, our new Justice, but ever enduring Deity, Flemingovia! A hearty congratulation to our new Attorney General Kiwi, who has certainly brought life and discipline to an erstwhile derelict position.

This election saw some new faces in the mix. We want to congratulate them as well on their dedication, and encourage them to continue to put themselves forward for our region in the many elections to come.

General Elections

Elections for the offices of Delegate, Vice Delegate and Speaker were held at the beginning of the month. The election for the position of Delegate was fairly quiet with the only hiccup occurring when Tim lost citizenship half way through the nomination period. McMasterdonia won the election easily with 86% of the vote.

The position of Speaker of the Regional Assembly was hotly contested by incumbent Speaker Zyvetskistaahn, Deputy Speaker Bootsie and perennial candidate Leekem. Zyvetskistaahn focused on efficiency in the office of Speaker, Bootsie's campaign focused on his personal mission "To represent the Regional Assembly as a whole, and the Legislative Branch of our government." Leekem's platform focused on interaction with new citizens: "I believe that as Speaker you must interact with your citizens. You must help if they need it, you must clarify if clarification is needed and you must have the personality and mentality to help your region. You will learn about my platform on newcomers, I have a huge platform on them as I am still considered one." Zyvetskistaahn won reelection with 58% of the vote.

The office of Vice Delegate was contested by Democratic Donkeys, Abacathea, Blue Wolf II and Geniva. Democratic Donkeys raised significant momentum early on with a exploratory committee with several high profile TNPer's coming out in support of the TNP stalwart. This coupled with the endorsement of the Former Vice Delegate, Sanctaria shot Democratic Donkey's to a solid victory.

The North Pacific Falls to the Skeleton Queen

On a quiet day in the North Pacific, the Skeleton hoards marched on Magicality City. There was no time for the Security Council to spring into action as they were violently awoken from their beds and arrested by the Skeleton Queen. The Delegate quickly surrendered and handed the region over to the Skeleton Army.

Residents quickly rallied to the RMB to express their disgust and feelings of betrayal that the Delegate would give up so easily.

Image
The Skeleton Queen enjoyed terrorizing residents of the North Pacific

"We're no territory of you "skeleton army" your majesty and it would be best to refrain from calling us such. For we North Pacific Citizens value our freedom and we are the largest and most powerful region in the world; it wouldn't be a good idea to provoke us..." ~ Valkany
"CAN I NOT LEAVE FOR THREE HOURS WITHOUT BEING CONFUSED?" ~ New North Aqmuland

The North Pacific has returned to peace and tranquility as the Skeleton Army has returned home. We dare not consider rebellion out of fear that they will return for us.

SECURITY CRISIS IN THE NORTH PACIFIC

Rioting in the streets of nations throughout the North Pacific has been reported this evening following the resignation of the much loved nation Blue Wolf II. Reports suggest that protesters are threatening to move their protest to the regional IRC channel in the hopes that they can be further ignored there. The region itself has gone into a state of mourning following the announcement earlier today but experts are convinced that like all drama in the North Pacific, it will be forgotten by the end of the week unless someone is taken to Court over it, in which case it will be kept on our televisions for the foreseeable future.

Image

Some of the latest reports and images from protests suggest that the protest's message is not a united one. One protester alleged that he was there to protest a lack of silliness in the speaker's office alleging that the resignation of the loyal nation of SillyString from the office has resulted in forecast silly levels not being met whilst another protester (pictured above) was concerned by the 'horrible use' of pie charts in the recent election results even though there were no pie charts available for the results in question.

An organiser of one of the protests who wished to remain anonymous stated: "I believe this is all a big conspiracy," utilising the latest legal protection and loophole from the Regional Court. "We are protesting a great many things here today as is our right under the constibillocode. Security Council members are dropping like flies. Most recently we had our beloved former delegate Eluvatar removed because of some rubbish rules and now the wolf himself has mysteriously 'resigned'? I don't believe it for a second!"

Our esteemed Delegate, McMasterdonia stated "Waffles, Rum and bananas... These will solve our problems."

In completely unrelated news, our estimates have shown that invasions of founderless regions have risen by no less than 100% in the past 24 hours following Blue Wolf II's resignation with numbers set to quadruple in the weeks to come.

WA Affairs Steps Up

On the back of the passage of two resolutions back to back through the WA by TNP Authors McMasterdonia and Abacathea, the WA Ministry is going to push for it's younger and newer members to become active in the WA, be it through simply encouraging more voting activity, engaging further in the debating and drafting processes or actively pursuing projects of their own.

In an attempt to further this, the WA Ministry is actively seeking new and fresh ideas to encourage and promote itself within the community. Seen as a very limited scope of gameplay the key, according to Minister for WA Affairs, Abacathea, is to find something that entices members in to begin with, and then hooking them from there.

Image
Minister Abacathea takes Ministry to all new levels of activity and success

"It's something that's ultimately going to be a massive challenge" said WA Minister Abacathea, "Really in most regions the WA section seems to be the hardest to promote the activity in, so it's more about finding the magic formula and then utilizing it to it's maximum potential that really will be they task and key here. Watch this space".

As it stands the Ministry is refusing to release any further details of what it is working on, only being quoted as "Big things ahead!".

You'll never leave TNP alive
This one is based on an old Country and Western song: "You'll never leave Harlan alive", rewritten for TNP.

Join in and sing along:

In the deep dark hills of the North Pacific
That's the place where I trace my bloodline
And it's there I read on a thread long archived
You will never leave TNP alive

Oh, ten years ago I first registered on Old Blue
And I call myself a TNPer with pride.
I fought in our wars and resisted the tyrants
And I’ll never leave TNP alive

When you log on the forum about ten in the morning
And you check in several times a day
And you fill your cup with whatever bitter brew you're drinking
And you spend your life just thinkin' of how to get away

No one ever knew that our region could be stifled
'Til the cosmos from IRC arrived
Waving amendments and new laws they said we’ll crush your spirit
But we’ll never leave TNP alive

Now some sold out cheap and they moved to another region
to a region that did more colours than bland,
I bet the cosmos danced them a jig, laughed and sang a new song
Who said we'd never leave TNP alive

But the times got hard with each and every new law
And ole timers knew what we'd do to survive
He kept our heads down low and let the cosmos run the region
But we never left TNP alive

So we log on the forum about ten in the morning
And we check in several times a day
And we fill our cup with whatever bitter brew we're drinking
And we spend our life just thinkin' of how to get away

So we log on the forum about ten in the morning
And we check in several times a day
And we fill our cup with whatever bitter brew we're drinking
And we spend our life just thinkin' of how to get away

In the deep dark hills of the North Pacific
That's the place where I trace my bloodline
And it's there I read on a thread long archived
You will never leave TNP alive
