Random Question

Postby Gelbi » Sun May 03, 2009 10:07 am

Greetings Everyone,
I was wondering if someone could help me with what ever the process is to start over my nation. I know that due to the was the programming works that you are not allowed to have two nations at once so I want to know how to get rid of my old one so that I may start a new one. Any suggestions?

You're allowed to have as many nations as you like, all at the same time, provided only one of them is in the World Assembly at any time. You can switch WA membership to any of your puppets, you just mustn't have two WA nations at once.

Becoming a World Assembly member is part of the game's structure; you make a yes/no decision about it. Making a nation is a different thing. You can do that as many times as you like. Some players like to create totally opposite nations, or nations that answer issues and nations that don't, or any other variation they can think of.

The nations that you don't think of as your "main" nation are called your puppets. Some people have their WA nation as their main nation, others join the WA with a puppet so their main nation isn't affected by WA statistical changes.

To make a new nation, you just do what you did in the first place: go to the Jennifer Government page (http://www.nationstates.net), not logged in as your present nation, and start one up.

To get it to show up on this forum, you do what you did for the nation you're posting with: log into it, then click on the "Forum: beta" link, then post.

To get rid of a nation, just don't log into it for 30 days and it will die.

The Nation of Gelbi is grateful for both the fast and the swift response to my question and would like to give a special thanks to Ardchoille for illuminating us. The people of Gelbi can now breathe a collective sigh of relief as the rumors of their leaders simply abandoning them for a better ides.

*ooc: thanks a million Ardchoille

That's a bit of a loaded question really. Just pick and choose answers to the issues presented to you as if you actually worried about your citizens lively hood. Or perhaps you don't! Perhaps you want to see how insane a country you can make! In that case answer as randomly as possible. Really though there is no "wrong" way to play this game. Hope that helps... or confuses...

To add to what Ardchoille said, if you're going to be away for a while and you don't want your nation deleted, you can go to your nations settings and put it in vacation mode and you are set for 60 days.

Also if one of your nations does die and you want to restore it. Just log in and you will be asked if you want that nation restored. Click the "restore nation" button and you are set.

How do you pay another nation if you buy something from them?

You work out something via role play.
