Being an assassin meant that Thorn was used to doing things the way that other people wanted. Doing runs with hawks meant that Thorn had to surrender some of his higher tech. Runs with wolves meant shedding all tech to remain low profile and not misfire. This wasn’t anything new, but when the night father told Thorn to go train a new assassin without so much as a knife he was confused.

“This new assassin runs among the wolves and hawks. He can be trusted with sharp things?” Thorn protested

“Unfortunately our lawyer the goat man recommends that we don’t use our weapons for a while.” The night father responded while wearily eyeing a massive pile of papers with a box of cigarettes on top on his desk

“Fine whatever. I’ve done crazier” Thorn responded.

Thorn grabbed the new assassin from the training camp and took him on a run. To summarise the results exactly as they occurred, Thorn and the apprentice assassin along with the brick chair, the sparkly one, and the frozen lich then went out and visited 12 regions and left signs in their yard stating who they were. Nothing else happened. The end.

In attendance of these wholesome activites were:
Taskmaster Thorn1000 (Triggering)
Senior Assassin Lugus Triune
Assassin Kuzana
Initiate malicious broccoli

With help from
Grandmaster Chaotic Sparkles, The Valiant Cavalry

Regions visited
TMO
Arglesia
Accelerate
High Point
Crandallian
The Ancient Realm
SecondGuesses
Ataphia
European Union of Romanian Communists

“Did you hear the news? Are raiders going to keep raiding?”

“Will the sun rise tomorrow?”

Image

Some things are inevitable. Death. Sunrise. Raiders. With the right prayers, those inevitabilities can even align: The raiders will enact the death of the Sunland.

The Brotherhood of Malice in solitude sacrificed dark offerings to the Overseer, petitioning for the Sunland to undergo a long night – their sky unseen through the wings of The Black Hawks; the weeping of their children unheard over the howls of Lone Wolves United and the drone of PRAF war-engines; their soldiers left bleeding by the Sekhmet Legion; their prayers for salvation overwhelmed by those of the Islamic States. Should their dark wishes succeed, they would soon control the Sunland, much as their fowl brethren had recent conquered the Moon.

Their gift of blood, and a ten day vow of silence from the whole order, won the Overseer’s grace. Their wishes would be met.

As sun reached its zenith, disguises were tossed aside, revealing the true occupants of the Sun Throne: Taskmaster Ghazi, and their right hoof, the Overgoat. As assassins are wont to do, they’d infiltrated and murdered their way to the top, and had six seats on the ruling council already under their control. These events were inevitable, set in motion long prior to the most recent whims of fate. Sunland’s fate is its own, and always has been.

The forces of evil, led by the nightmen of the Brotherhood, file in to enact their plan. They sharpen their blades, practice their crossbow shots and dagger tosses, hone their skills to perfection - while the daymen and Wardens of the world, distracted by their feasting and revelry, are too busy toasting the results of a battle to show up to their purportedly fundamental war. The most ambitious among them sweep up fallen lily petals and wolf droppings, and call it their duty met.

It would make no difference if it were otherwise.

Malice is insidious. Inexorable. Inevitable.

Praise the sun today...for it may just rise in the name of a more Malicious god tomorrow.

between the moon and sunland, maybe praf should rebrand to the peoples revolutionary space force instead. very much enjoying my tour of the solar system--i guess defenders don't have the space suits to follow us?

Glad to have one of our Taskmasters take control this time and show what we can do even when it's not the top brass running the show

Taking the moon was one thing, but to take over the sun as well? This is becoming too overkill. I love it.

With that, you could defeat the sun tonight.

Okay, even I can't take this narrative seriously

This raid is the equivalent of Messi finally winning the World Cup final and, as he and the Argentina team are on the podium celebrating, the French national team rushing back onto the pitch and kicking the ball into the net

Malice wasn't playing in any other tournaments this week. Came to win this one though.

I have enjoyed sitting back on this one. Although it is sad to see defenders not even trying and letting Malice have a perfect 2022.

Region is a fair bit older than “New” Westphalia, yet I don’t see anyone crying and running to the Security Council with a liberation. Imagine that? I guess defenders only defend regions which are “worthy”. I imagine some obscure post from two centuries ago will show up, accusing some former member of the region of being a fascist, or some other shit, and that is why they didn’t bother with it. It’s almost as if you could set your watch by Libcord…..

The Brotherhood of Malice New Years Foreign Debrief

Welcome back
Welcome back to the Malice Foreign Debriefs! “Woah, didn’t we just get one of these?!” I can hear you asking, and yes! However, we decided to go ahead and send out another one with some information on the region and invite people to the Malicious New Year!

A Letter from Commissioner of the Malicious Football League:
Dear the rest of the world: hi! You've never heard of me, partially because I am a character created to give somewhat regular reports on a fantasy football league. Who's fantasy football league? Well, Malice's of course. Gah what did you think you were reading? Anywho, the Brotherhood of Malice has a fantasy football league! This is the inaugural season of the MFL, a ten team PPR league that can only be truly described as chaotic. Partially because I run it, and partially because only like 3 of us had ever done this before this season. But that's okay, because it turns out new Fantasy players have a ton of good luck! Currently the playoffs look to be decided as Cthoria Sock Puppets lead the Valtarre Division while Raleigh Oaks lead the Venico Division. Notable highlights throughout the season include:

-The Raxion Apes actually won multiple games!
-The Septalon Archers nearly dumpstered every team they went against for the first 9 games of the season!
-Venico didn't make the playoffs!

We've compiled a few stats for you as well, so you can see exactly how awful these team compositions truly are!

Image

Anyways, it's hard to distill the excitement of an entire fantasy football season into one blurb that you didn't know you had to write until a few hours ago, but I hope you get the gist of it!

Exclamation Points!!!!

-Commissioner Smoment

Raiding? Raiding.
The Brotherhood of Malice has just invaded Sunland. Currently with 136 endorsements on the delegate, gaining over 120 endorsements within the first 12 hours of the pile!

The Brotherhood has also aided our allies in clearing out the haunted moon, and refounding it. And we helped pile in PanAsian Union. Not mentioning all our wonderful tag raids. :)

Funny considering they seem to spend a lot of time in their Artifical Solar System.

I would like to congratulate BoM on another win thanks to the “lack of natives” argument which I have never seen used prior to Moon except in maybe one instance .

Cooper Kupp's Injury and its consequences have been disastrous for the fantasy race.

On another note, that Very Malicious New Year invite is open to any and all (assuming you aren't Out Of Character Blacklisted). Nothing should really be In Character, just a bunch of players having fun with a few different contests and games. Maybe a long winded Diatribe from me on what 2022 has meant to me personally and what I'm looking forward to in 2023.

Anywhos, games, drinking, celebrations. Be there or be square.

Oh, hello there. It has been a little while since you've heard me report on anything personally, hasn't it? No matter, allow me to rectify this. About an hour ago, I became aware that there was an Initiate of ours who was available for training, yet there were no trainers to be found. No matter, I thought, surely I can bust out the old spyglass in my desk drawer and seek out some points of interest in need of some plundering. Budgets can get tight sometimes, and if our Initiate wanted to earn their cloak and daggers then they might as well acquire the funds to pay for them.

Armed with nothing but some bargain bin equipment and led by yours truly, our last minute crew was assembled and ready to head out. As luck would have it, it seemed the guards were mostly either distracted or asleep on the job while we began our heists. Our Initiate had been doing some extracurricular reading in preparation for their training, and offered to be the first one in. It went off without a hitch, but then our Taskmaster had to report back to the hideout. We saddled them with our gains from the first hit and moved along. The Initiate and the Assassin then took turns on the next two, while a Senior Assassin came in at the end to replace the Taskmaster. All in all, four targets were raided for their loot, plenty to afford some real equipment. The Initiate proved himself more than capable of following the assassin's code as well.

When we returned to the hideout, what we needed to do was clear. The Brotherhood of Falafels had earned their cloak and daggers, and was promoted to a fully fledged Assassin.

Regions Plundered:
Boivert
Northlandia
The Gaddafist League
Kyratian States

Malicious Forces:
Valtarre the Vampire King
Taskmaster Ghazi-Rahman Ammar ibn Rigel Al-Asteorra
Senior Assassin Bloody Good Riot
Assassin Malicious NPU
Initiate The Brotherhood of Falafels
