The night father never thought he would be looking for Thorn of all people. Of all the shady and downright despicable people he had the pleasure, or the displeasure, of knowing, Thorn was far and away the most… unstable of them all. He did whatever came to his mind whenever it came to his mind and anything more than that was up to fate. One day he might burn down something when told to and another day he might simply spray paint something explicit on something important that he was explicitly told not to. Funny misunderstanding he said. That being said, there wasn’t a soul on this side of hell who was better at unadulterated destruction.

Thorn had been summoned from the depths of hell in order to support the raid of A Liberal Haven and ever since that taste of blood he was unstoppable. And tonight the night father needed that talent for total annihilation.

The ever pragmatic Iota had requested a large fire in a particular place and the night father was intent on providing. Honor among thieves and killers was at an all time high and the brotherhood wouldn’t disappoint. After the support they gave in EmbassyRegionia it was the least the brotherhood could do. That’s what led him to trying to find Thorn. Thorn however, was nowhere to be seen.

After several hours of searching to no avail, the night father had finally come up with one more plan. He threw a priceless vase against the wall. He almost thought that didn’t work until a loud crack filled the room accompanied by the smell of sulfur and brimstone.

“I DIDN'T DO IT” Thorn yelled loudly. “I'M NOT GUILTY _{for once}”

“I know Thorn, I know. I called you here to help me do something” Venico told Thorn.

“Help?” Thorn asked inquiringly. “I'm not… totally sure what that means. Why would we do that?”

Venico sighed deeply. Thorn was not a diplomat. He had no understanding of scratching someone’s back so they would scratch yours. He had never done anything for anyone out of the kindness of whatever void he called a heart and it showed.

“Look. Just destroy this. They are not good people.” Venico told him, since Thorn rarely ignored a direct order.

“But aren’t we bad people? Why would we destroy something that is bad like we are?” Thorn asked in a childlike way without a hint of sarcasm.

“We are bad people, yes, Thorn. But just because we are bad guys, doesn’t mean we are bad guys. These people are just bad guys.” Venico told him patiently.

“Cool. So I just get to burn any part of it I want?” Thorn asked with a frightening amount of glee.

“Yes you do, Thorn. The Ever-Wanderer will help you with the math, since I know you can only count to 4.”

“Actually I learned to count all the way to 576 and I am hoping to learn to count higher than that someday” Thorn said cheerfully. It seemed like an odd number to the nightfather, but that mattered not.

It was on that note that Thorn produced a silver zippo lighter out of nowhere. The magic trick was impressive and the nightfather didn’t know if it was actual magic or sleight of hand. He supposed it didn't really matter. “Thorn. You're an imp. Can't you just… will hellfire into existence?” the nightfather asked him.

“Yeah but this has more pizzazz doesn't it? I like the-at-rics.” Thorn stuttered at the end, sounding out a rare polysyllabic word.

“Yes it does, Thorn. Go meet up with the strike team and get ready to go.” Venico stated.

“How was I supposed to know you were just saying he didn’t have a weapon? You said his name and I set him on fire. It was as simple as that.” Thorn told the Ever-Wanderer in an exasperated tone.

The Ever-Wanderer grew tired of Thorn’s relentless questioning about every single little detail of his plans. It was one thing to ask questions, but then to totally ignore the answer to take out whoever he felt like taking out was something else entirely. The Ever-Wanderer could see an endless number of potential outcomes and futures, but even he couldn’t predict the chaotic imp that lay before him. Overseer knows even Whisp was more predictable than Thorn. He sighed and continued to calculate out the final variables to seal the region while Thorn lit anything that had a pulse on fire. Of course Thorn had made the math more difficult by taking out an ally. And by distracting allies trying to deliver supplies by telling them the wrong ETA. Honestly, it was impressive how much Thorn threw a wrench in the cogs while being vital to the operation.

It was with glee akin to a ~~child on~~ raider in Christmas that Thorn watched the lock on the region go up. He had done it. He successfully destroyed a region from start to finish and had led the way. The communist nations of the world had a password on it, thanks in large part to Thorn banning any native that drew breath. He was proud of himself. He had done good and made people proud and that made him happy. Happy enough to almost contemplate not burning anything for a couple days. That feeling subsided quickly. It was time to go back to spraypainting.

A huge thank you to The Communist Bloc and my commanding officers for allowing me to lead our first joint operation (and my biggest operation ever). I had a ton of fun and cannot wait to do it again sometime in the near future. Who knows, we may even be coming to a region near you

A moment of calm for Sister Victoria as a GCR break occurs. "Vampire", people whisper about her. But is it true?

Ben watched as one after another, fellow brother and sister assassins came back home after a successful culmination to yet another large mission. A notice at the entrance of the sanctuary detailed its conclusion. One could only imagine yet another round of celebrations as the sun slowly set. However, as he made his way into the sanctuary, Ben cannot help but notice that many of his fellow assassins yet still desired one more final escapade before calling it a day. Thus, on short notice, he called out those who needed one more taste of adventure.

With sharpened blades, worthy steeds, and unfathomable malicious intent, they waited as the hour drew near. "Look alive my brothers and sisters! Ready thou blades!. The hour has nearly turned! We ride tonight!. And rode they did. With no wardens to stop them, they comfortably cut their way through lands that would henceforth know nothing but to only fear them.

Oh what a fine night it indeed was. Sister Vict0ria started the ride roughly but soon she was effortlessly recording every region that they plunged their daggers and blades unto. A worthy record useful after the raid. Though the others swore they heard her murmuring "thirsty" and disappearing right after the jump, only to rejoin a little later while wiping something from her lips. Ben only thought it was just imagination.

The Overseer truly must have rode alongside us as well. Even possibly granting Bloody Good Riot a unique ability to destroy our targets without even trying to. Caution for those who are on the opposite side of Bloody Good Riot, for the Overseer has seemingly cast his lot with him at the moment.

Then there was Gladio III, who did what any assassin of legend does best. An assassin worthy of the rank that had been bestowed upon him by the Vampire King and Night Father themselves a mere few a moons ago. Veteran. Though in all honesty, no rank might ever be enough for this assassin, who for the most part, loves to be the one who does most of the dirty work.

Then lastly, there was the youngblood, Neo Society. Promising indeed but with still much to learn. Thus, Ben decided to hand Neo Society the chance of leading the way to visit a land once home to raiders of old who once struck the lands in vicious packs. There they concluded their ride, amongst the ruins of the great halls of the wolves. And as the sun slowly rose, they left behind a small monument to honor those that had come before. Raider Unity.
