Furthermore, we've been informed that Lazarus also has the intention to join SovCon and are "considered to be members". Although, Rubber Soul notes that the fact that
Lazarus will be a "constituent member-region of SovCon" has been obscured by some "Pacifican doublespeak" When I asked what a 'constituent member-region' meant, it was explained as a member-region which receives orders and follows rules, but does not have administrative influence.

Where the hell did that statement come from?

And defenders definitely know about The Middle East. I'm surprised at the vagueness of that article considering the interesting involvement pre-raid or even just the liberation attempt the night of the delegate switch or the history of the point.

The difference being that he's not asking for his factbook to be given a headline. Anyone who reads this forum already knows there was a defender award. Do the defenders really need so much self-validation that they'll beg for a blurb for what I'm sure what the "Greatest and Most Significant Award Show in the History of Western Civilization"?

I would have thought the Defender Awards would have deserved a piece simply by virtue of being the only pan-defender celebration of outstanding achievement. Aaaaaand... it's pretty obvious that TBR are still licking their wounds after having essentially been condemned as an even lower entity that the GGR :roll:

You might annoy Halcones with the FRA award, I really can't read him well so he might be annoyed, but I couldn't care less about the award. There are in fact only a handful of regions whose opinion TBR might take into account, other than that the rest of NS can die a fiery death for all I care.

Complain? Me? Preposterous! I was merely pointing out that this grand celebration of defender achievement was so newsworthy that the paper's editor forgot to include even a line about it.

Fear not defenders when the editor get's back he shall no doubt add a couple of lines on defender awards and perhaps then you'll be appeased that your awards have been awarded the coverage that they so rightly deserve.
