I only posted on the RMB (as NSWNC3) "If anyone could TG a round-up of TBH military events to this nation, it would be greatly appreciated." But, I suppose it's their decision, so I'm not going to protest.

I originally wanted to go to the Black Hawks, but Crushing our Enemies didn't want to take me, as a I was still a fresh defender, and had a lot of "baggage". Tim talked to me a little bit, and I decided TBR was the right place for me.

All decisions to accept or reject members are made by the Council of the Hawks, not one lone Military Adviser speaking his mind. I delivered the opinion of the council in this matter, but I don't want anyone thinking that at the time, I had the power to unilaterally deny someone TBH membership.

The Peacezones

As you may have guessed, the "Peacezones" are the opposite of the "Warzones". One example of these PZs is Democratia. The basic concept is a region where nations cannot be ejected/banjected, and where the Delegate has no power.

The players behind the idea and other players are looking into the possibility of a game-created Peacezone. The difference between a player-created Peacezone and a game-created Peacezone, would, of course, be that the player-created Peacezone has a founder, whereas a game-created Peacezone would not.

In addition to the Delegate having no power, the WFE cannot be changed and posts cannot be suppressed. It also has an SC "Liberation", allowing free movement in (and out) of the region. The founder quotes "Inspired by some suggestions put forward in this forum, Democratia is a social experiment. It is an anarchist region, formed by nations who freely associate under a non-hierarchical, decentralised, participatory form. Power-hunger, egocentrism and forceful imposition of authority have no value here. We support and work towards the implementation of a game-created Peacezone." on the Democratia thread.

However, he also says "Democratia actually isn't a Peacezone. It is only an experiment that attempts to recreate the abstract concept of Peacezone as closely as the current game mechanics allow it, to show how it would work, of if it would work."

Apparently, WZ Africa has itself been "converted" into a Peacezone - for the moment anyway.

So, the Peacezones - a good concept, or a bad idea?

I do like this idea. It allows the nations who just want to answer issues, and don't care what region they are in some peace and quiet. These people probably get annoyed with the whole raiding game, especially when it happens to them.

However, IF these were to become very popular, it would most likely hurt the whole R/D game a lot...

I don't know about that, comrade Mid-North. I think they'll just be an option, like warzones are now. That is, unless, regions can choose to become peacezones, which would definitely turn in favor of the founderless regions.

And also like to take a small issue with the 'defender' accusations of TBR's alleged islamophobia. The FRA, and I believe TITO/10KI (though I do not speak for them) are firmly against any such accusations. TBR can be labelled with a good number of bad and or annoying tags, but islamophobia is not one. That would require them having some kind of political agenda which the FRA and myself certainly feel does not exist. Any tentative link that can be established between TBR raiding Islam themed regions is pure coincidence.

Its actually been quite a good week for the FRA. Your not the only raiders out there
