Is the fascist symbol intentional?

Yes. I'm not a fascist, obv, but on NS I'm kinda bored of being a democratic utopia.

My suggestion would be to ditch the yellow and white stripes in favor of something a bit more menacing. Unless the colors hold some historical/cultural significance to your nation, they don't really scream "We're the bad guys," which seems to be what your aiming for. I'd suggest either replacing the white stripes with black or changing the yellows to a red or blue to fit with the symbol on the hoist side.

The black border on the triangle isn't adding anything. If you want more black, try changing the white stripes to black. Black v yellow carries a natural warning. You could also consider changing blue/white to black/yellow for the lightning bolt. Just 2 or 3 colours is generally best for a flag.

You're getting there, but you still have too many colours. Also, the dark red is a bad idea. Don't use two shades of the same colour. The black was good, and suitably menacing.

What do y'all think about my flag? It's straight from the internet, but I feel as if it needs some proper editing, you know, contrast and sharpness and lighting. What do you all think?

I would agree. As a picture, it's OK. As a flag it needs a bit of simplification and re-framing. The frame should extend a bit further to include all of the top lid and the tear duct. The white highlight on the face can go, and the white of the eye needs to be smoothed out.

Oh, nothing. To be honest, I was just thinking (and hoping) that the flag I have now would be my final design, but if there's anything I can possibly change with the advice of experts by any chance, I'm all ears.

Usually I would be confused on your definition of complex, but even during the initial making of it on SketchUp Pro, I already thought it was an eyesore -- mostly because the flag is monochromatic in design.

Could I have some suggestions for a new flag I’m thinking of? My idea is to use a 3:4 ratio bi-colour (with the two colours meeting vertically like on the Vatican flag) and an oval escutcheon in the centre with a musket, hoe and torch overlayed with one another and a cross someplace on the escutcheon as well. I’d like to follow the rule of tincture as well. Colour wise, I’d like to maintain a USA and Christian/Ecumenical theme. Would this design work or no?

I personally like it how it is. However, the center figure doesn't appear to be centered vertically.

Why does everybody always want to add things?? Less is more.

Just the Hand (larger) on a full white field would be a good flag IMHO.
