hmmm, perhaps you could try not ignoring half of my post, and only paying attention to the part that allows you to continue your propaganda stance? I acknowledged the fact that some of the timings were, apparently, long enough, by my offerring of alternative explanations.

Perhaps you should remember that defenders aren't miracle workers who spend their whole lives defending and learning the art of predicting the future. Dig your head out of the "OMG useless fendas" sand.

Not sure what you're getting at there sorry - my points are correct if they didn't attempt to stop raids they could have easily stopped. They don't need to predict the future to stop some of our raids.

Yeah, even though more of those raids had shorter time gaps between "move" and "update", I remember there were 3 where I am sure I could have moved and endorsed the native delegate if I wanted to. Again, the largest margin you guys had was about 6 or 7 seconds, which is a TON of time. If my WA was not in use, I would have certainly been attempting to make moves against you guys. And for regions with delegates that would have worked, since you only had 3 updaters. This is a case where just 1 or 2 defenders could have made a significant difference. I can understand why it may have seemed better to hold back two days ago, but in all honesty there was no point in holding back this time.

Saturday 20th October 4PM - 5PM GMT

And yet another charge by The Black Riders, this time taking a further 4 regions. Only on one occasion did UDL show up. The defenders were wise to avoid us, as we achieved split-second timings yet again. We only took 4 due to a shortage of switchers.

Troops involved were Koth II and Neuskistoliitto, with General Halcones commanding the raids again.

The following regions were flushed down the toilet:

The Walbard Union
Equality Freedom and Justice
Chicken Islands
Sydney

I think the point was there are alternative explanations for why defenders didn't attempt to stop you besides "we can't be bothered." There may not have been enough defenders online or defenders may have been distracted by or focused on something else. During this minor for example we were focused on two liberations during the update times for the four regions you mention in your above post. Expecting defenders to be active during every update or in two places at once is unrealistic. We are already active at update more than most raider organizations, including yours -- especially before your return.

In any event, congratulations on your successful graffiti.

A, as we achieved split-second timings yet again.

timings? as in plural? lets see...

3 seconds between moving and capturing

eight seconds between moving and capturing

ten seconds between moving and capturing

Here you got a difference of one second. Congratulations.

Doesn't seem that impressive now. :/

So why did you fail to stop them? Any don't give the excuse of "doing something else". I know you have many people in your organisation. Use some management skills.

Well sure, we decided to put care and skills into taking care of business than splitting up and risking things.

You could learn a thing or two about care, Halc. ;)

We chose to focus on ensuring our success at missions.

We managed to do two successful liberations in a span of about 3 minutes. After that, you guys had given up raiding for the update. This left us with taking care of some of your graffiti.

We were. We also fully realise that a region like Chicken Islands is absolutely integral to the functioning of NationStates (heaven forbid that it CTE -- how could this game recover from that?!), and that through raiding it TBR is undoubtedly going to "bring NationStates to its knees", or these regions are now "flushed down the toilet" (but only for the next 12 hours until UDL detags it).

If you didn't get my sarcasm, I'm saying that these regions puppet dumps are not even worth our effort to click the "move here button". Although, I am impressed that you are willing to spend so much effort of them, with seemingly no tangible benefit. What are the fruits of all your labour?

If you agree with me that the answer is pretty much none, perhaps you should learn a musical instrument or join a woodworking class or something. To me, you seem... bored.

I was dry on puppets, I used all but 5 at the last major. I was fully prepared to go all update if I could

I'm not even gonna bother with you. You say labor, I say fun. Potato, potahto.

I showed up for EFJ (failed to defend) and was completely ignored.
No ban. *sniffs*

Then Walbard Union was too close, and probably I'd wandered off to do something else by the time you hit Sydney.

Well... on the other hand it's probably more impressive than anything you've done lately. Incidentally, good to see you fact checking other people's statements rather than doing something constructive, or dare I say, impressive, yourself. :p

Sunday 21st October 4AM - 5AM

Last update, the added variance was wiped aside, as The Black Riders blitzed the update, achieving many split-second timings, and gaining a total of 24 hits. Defenders continued to be silent on our raids - I do agree, this time, there was not a lot they could do. Poor things.

Troops involved were Scooby-Doo, Ragnarok Arisen, and Koth II, while General Halcones commanded the raids, giving out targets and some spectacular times.

The following regions were tossed in the frying pan:

The Herd
The Coalition of the Willing
Soviet America
Marvinic Sphere
South Mogs Sea
Zemilid
The Unified Fifth Reich
Precipice of the World
Muslim
Great White Brotherhood
Ankdammen
World Bank
Wildeburg
The NationStates Holocaust Memorial
Eurasian Confederation
Phrygia
The Dancing Sharks Region
Tropic of Cancer
Aeternam Unione
Tammerail
Psychosomatica
BORG COLLECTIVE
Clarksonvania
The Unstable Culture

*Awaits comments on the controversial hits*

I like the pic, Koth. ;)

I was in IRC with my region mates and did not have the oppertunity to be a spectator this time. Sounds like you did well, though! Now what I want to see is some real TBR-UDL action, and not this gradually boring stuff.

I was wondering this myself, actually.

Of all the regions in NS, could you not have left that one, just that one, alone?

I say this is a raider. I have no objection to any of the others, and you're not about to hear me scream "ISLAMOPHOBE", but the Holocaust memorial?
