I would have suspected it is almost pointless for any raider organization to have a method of finding old WFE's. As for myself, I honestly don't care about tag raiding or detagging, so "the DDD" is alien to me.

Most amusing. This is the first time I have attempted to find an old WFE. I am not a defender so clearly am not familiar with your current methods of doing this. Don't expect me to be. Care to share?

Unless you've got a fancy new tool since I switched (one that operates using the daily data dump, I'd expect), I'm going to assume you're talking about Google's caches... which are hardly new. Defenders have been using those since before the daily data dump existed, I'm pretty sure.

Of course, maybe you guys have found some other way, in which case disregard my post. :P

I believe there may be a tool in the works, but don't quote me on that.

I actually like the Daily Dumps now for detagging if you have a Daily Dump on hand, since Ballo added BBcode recognition to the Daily Dumps. If something is really complex to detag, I often go use the Daily Dump.

Well, I'm not sure how using something far newer than Google caches makes Halc two years behind everyone else, but... :P

Exactly. It's far more useful. Thank you Uni.

I will continue to use the daily data dump, and not attempt to use the old method of the google cache.

Wednesday 17th October 4AM - 5AM GMT

Last update came with yet another charge by The Black Riders, this time involving 8 troops. A total of 10 regions were captured, many with delegates. The only defender group to at least try was TITO, successfully saving one of the regions. Other defender groups sat back and watched.

Troops involved were Gest, A Million Voices, Scooby-Doo, Camo5768, Ragnarok Arisen, Koth II, and Venico the Rider. All raids were commanded by General Halcones, who supplied targets and times.

The following regions fell victim:

Nylarus
Federation of Allied Nations
Ether
League of Righteousness
Roosters
The Federal States of Reikland
Undertow
Hyperion
The United States of Doom
Neocontinent

Ether was captured yet again, just for the sheer thrill.

Not only that, but they must have missed at least half of the regions they targeted (maybe just going over 50% with the piddly regions at the end after everyone, defender and raider, got bored). It's like TBR don't even care about the job they are completely voluntarily doing. I like posting analogies so those hard at thinking can grasp the concept, but I can't even think of anything remotely within the sane world that would suffice this time.

No, we were tag raiding the delegate regions, some of which had at least 4 endorsements. Ether is an example. TITO stopped one of these, but that's all. Later, some of our troops ran out of switchers/had to go, so we were down with just 2 or 3 troops, back taking the non-delegate regions. Whenever we have a large number of troops, we use them accordingly.

I'm not too sure about the horse; I would think this group would be the one to ask about equine related matters. Anyway, perhaps I am: I cannot see the enjoyment jumping into regions the exact moment it updates with the expressed understanding that there is random variance attached. If this is the aim, like what was witnessed last night, it is guaranteed that half the regions targeted will be missed.

You're right. I don't get it at all.

Not long they will all be split-second hits. Be prepared.

The misses were actually due to troops moving slowly. Our calculations were very accurate.
