Tonight, The Black Riders rode into battle to find some defenders taking a Cat Nap . We found it to be the Purrrrrfect time to make an example of them. And went on to take 18 more in addition to The Empire of Cats.

The Thing to Remember About NationStates is that it is an almost entirely social game - fundamentally, you have no power beyond your own ability to convince people to go along with your ideas. In that sense, even the most dictatorial region is fundamentally democratic.

Amidst the peril in Japan, the defendersphere seeming to implode more and more every day, and the coming of summer, The Black Riders emerged to sweep 22 regions last update. Defenders were nowhere in sight, which was pretty disastrous seeing as how there were other raiders at play as well. Looks like they'll be on clean-up duty for a couple of days.

Raids commanded by Koth II. Troops involved were Gest, Camo5768, Cervas, and Banana Republic of Banana Hammocks.
