The more fundamental observation is that through declaration of war, The Pacific got their way and the GGR have been severely weakened.

Considering that the United Kingdom of Britain raid did not weaken them whatsoever, because whatever the outcome, either side would've claimed a dead region, something which is strategically useless. Had they have attacked the actually GGR then maybe that would've helped make them surrender, but I'm afraid the only such attack was made on our part.

Because people that have little understanding of the game and suggest stupid things like spamming their RMB with adspam would try to attack a region, military wise, with a founder. The United Kingdom of Britain was an attack on GGR because GGR were seeking to make TUKB part of their territory and stopping that was a military victory; the defeat was subsequently amongst the sources of dispute between the region's military and intelligence services which due to other factors contributed to the splinter. The point is that you claimed that not 'one attack' on GGR occurred, but one did, however significant you assess it to be or not.

I did not say it was through the TUKB victory specifically that The Pacific got what it wanted, but through the totality of the war (in both diplomatic and military respects), The Pacific have got GGR to this point of effective surrender and war is as much a diplomatic concept as it is a military concept.
