The Cat Burglars!

Postby Andacantra » Wed May 23, 2012 1:14 am

(I've been meaning to make one of these for ages. I'll update with a bit more info later)

This is the thread that I'll use from now on for news about the Cat Burglars - and primarily our raids. We're a group of people who aim, during every raid, to do as little damage as possible - while having heaps of fun in the process. Our fun isn't from destroying stuff - it's about joking around with defenders, the thrill of fending off lib attempts, and knowing that we're not intruding on the natives too much.

And, as the first piece of news:

Cat Burglars has raided Region of Barringtonia!
Image

Myself and Cat Burglar JGlenn moved to take the region yesterday minor, and while we missed update - we sat it out and gained the delegacy this major update.

Bring it on!

1) Your screenshot is extremely blurry. It's obviously photoshopped :P

2) Congratulations I guess... Though I think you should maybe kick some natives and kill the embassies. It's one of the most fun parts about raiding :P

They were actually late, but I didn't see this until -after- I'd ranted at my net for lagging (again) around the update time.

My ISP plainly doesn't understand the importance of my net -not- breaking at update! :P

Clearly they do appreciate the importance, but all their staff are defenders so that's why they break your net :P

Camp's correct. Whether they got it this morning or not we were going to be leaving shortly afterwards. But, as ever, it was a lot of fun, and once I've caught up more sleep, you better watch out for us again

I guess you're the kind of Cat Burglars that take the key from under the mat, unlock the door, sit on the couch for a couple hours, and then lock the door behind you on the way out? (Making sure to find the broom and sweep up any dirt you may have tracked in on the way.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you're raiding and meeting with success, but I do find it a bit...strange.

I may be a few days late, but congratulations nonetheless. As CoE was saying, not everybody has to raid the same way, or even understand each other. I'm glad you're having fun raiding - that's all that matters in the end, is it not? Keep up the good work.

Congratulations. However, having said that... you say you're a moderate raider. Yet based on the picture you posted in the OP, you appear to have made the region fuzzy! Are such changes permanent? :p

Cats are fuzzy. Therefore, it is perfectly normal for regions the Cat Burglars raid to be fuzzy as well.
