I was wondering if you could translate into a latin motto.

"We came, we saw, we kicked ass"

I turned "lose" into "be overwon" because it just works better. I've also used a special word order to highlight the opposition.

Adejaani wrote:*Clears throat* Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes :lol2:

Thought you may enjoy that one.

Beyond that, though... "Don't mess with engineers". Which, as far as I can translate, Operor non nuntius per (Engineers)?

That would turn out to be something like "I am worked not the messenger by engineers" which is just gibberish.
"Ne perdole(te)/Noli(te) perdolere machinatores/ingeniarios/mechanicos"
Sounds a lot better doesn't it. Add the -te if it's adressed to some sort of crowd instead of an individual.

"We came, we saw, we kicked ass"

"Venimus, Vidimus, Pepulimus"
Might be better in singular as "Veni, Vidi, Pepuli".

It means "While in the free peoples", so no. Remove "in", change "donec" for "domus" and it'll be good.

Edit: hey, where did my sig go?

I think you should make the "recieve" into a past tense though so I definitely suggest using the perfectum "accepimus" instead. Nobody will notice anyway.

Zersium wrote:"Death, for the Sake of Death. Evolution, to Weed out the weak."

"Mors/Nex (Ob Mortem/Necem / Mortis/Necis Caus(s)a). Evolutio, pro ((Con)Sar(r)indo I(m/n)becill(os/es)/Fessos/Debiles / (Con)sar(r)indis I(m/n)becill(is/ibus)/Fessis/Debilibus)."

There's a lot of options for these (probably because the Romans so loved death and loathed weakness but also partially because there's alternative spellings for everything) so I'll explain them bit by bit.
"Mors" is a neutral "death while "nex" is more of a murder. You can choose between using the preposition "ob" or the supposition "caus(s)a" (with or without the extra S though it's usually done without) but they use different cases and therefore different endings so you must use the appropriated declination of "mors" or "nex" as indicated. "Con-" adds strenght to a verb so to say, so it's as if you're adding the adverb "thoroughly". "Sar(r)i-", like "caus(s)a" allows for both spellings, but again the R is usually left out. You can use any of the three words I provided for "weak". I'll just give you the dictionary definitions for each one so you can choose yourself.

imbecillus
weak/feeble; delicate (plant); fragile; ineffective; lacking in power/resources;

fessus
tired, wearied, fatigued, exhausted; worn out, weak, feeble, infirm, sick;

debilis
weak/feeble/frail; crippled/disabled; wanting/deprived (competence); ineffective

"Imbecillus" also allows for a variant with an N instead of the M and with the ending of "debilis". You should be able to use either construction I provided but to be quite honest I'm not completely certain on them. It might be that "weak" has to be a genitive. Astrol or Bluth, can you help out?
I suggest myself that you use this variant, but by all means ignore this if you want to be sure it's the best:

"Mors Mortis Causa. Evolutio, Pro Sarindo Imbecillos."

As always, switch the words around to your liking, but make sure that "causa" comes after "mortis" and "sarindo" after "pro".

"Possis" is the subjunctive making the if-clause an irrealis. Basically it means "In the highly unlikely instance you can't find..."

Actually, in the National Library, it is highly unlikely that you will find what you're looking for; the late Head Librarian, the Rev. Mr. Burgess, was severely dyslexic, as a result of which most of the 900,000 books are on the wrong shelves. Hence the motto. So perhaps it should be 'potes' not 'possis'? (The Latin subjunctive has always thrown me.)

You'll have to be careful about the endings, but you'll be fine. For "patron" use "patronis", for "customers" use "clientibus". That'll be it or do you want something else?

You should probably explain that, whereas in English patron and customer are nearly synonyms (especially, I expect, in this context), patronus and cliens most definitely are not.

Right.
As to your translation, what does "sarindo" mean? I cannot find it in any of my dictionaries.
Adejaani: I would use cliens, as it most nearly means customer. The Latin word "patronus", while it does translate to patron, means it in the sense of a protector/benefactor.

It appears to me that "ad" is usually paired with the accusative gerundive to show purpose, based on some Googling. I can, however, ask my Magister tomorrow at school for further clarification.

ad + accusative gerundive, or genitive gerundive + causa, both indicate purpose.
