Add -te if it's adressed to a plural audience.
Gloriun's a secondary nation of mine, so I meant to post that as this nation.
So from Nexexen, thank you!
On a second note, could I get a translation of "Live happily; die happily" as well? Thanks.

Thank you very much. Would you mind telling me what the basic form of the word "acautum" is?Astrolinium wrote:Si non acautum, non satis.

Also, I noticed your Finnish engine doesn't seem to be active anymore. I could help you with that particular language, being a native speaker myself.

I don't know how Astrol came up with "acautus" and I certainly can't find what it means or another word that means "fireproof" so I will let him speak on that.
With regard to the Finnish motto thread, just reignite the service, maybe start a new thread but preferably just start where the others left.

Astrolinium wrote:It's a typo, actually. Mea culpa.
It should be acaustum, which, according to Lewis & Short, means "incombustible". It tells me it was used by Pliny, and appears to be a Greek loanword.

Is "Fidelis Usque Ad Mortem" actually "Faithful Until Death"?
Profectu wrote:I change my motto a lot, but it's always in Latin. The one I like the best is " nos autem multi sumus unum" which I think means "we are many and we are one", if there are mistakes could you correct them?
Jimanistan wrote:I have a creeping suspicion that the Latin in my motto is not grammatically correct.
I wanted my motto to read "Bread and Roses," which I, having forgotten most of the Latin I learned in high school, translated as "Panem et Rosae."
Is this incorrect, as I assume, or was I actually right in the first place?
