What about:

Inseparable unto the end?

Inseparabilis usque ad finem.

That assumes you're talking about your nation as a singular, unified object. If you want to say something like, "We the citizens of Viritica are inseparable", then it would be inseparabiles.

Litterally "Fortior est homo qui ducit alios ad bellum", but I prefer "Homo alios in bellum ducens fortior est" Or even simpler "Alios in bellum ducens fortior est" meaning "(the one) leading others into war is stronger".

Gloriun's a secondary nation of mine, so I meant to post that as this nation.

So from Nexexen, thank you!

On a second note, could I get a translation of "Live happily; die happily" as well? Thanks.

Correct.

Diol wrote:What is

"Tyrannem perdere per perpetuam libertatem"

An alternative spelling could use "turannem" instead. You may also use the "Tyrannis perduendus" which changes the stress from the destroying to the tyranny but I'm not too sure so I'll check tomorrow.

Anyway there's a beautiful alliteration in the translation so don't worry.

Thank you for serving us a piece of your wisdom, Naivetry! Also, if you would be so good as to translate my motto "If it's not fireproof, it's not good enough!" into Latin, I would be most grateful. ^m^

Thank you very much. Would you mind telling me what the basic form of the word "acautum" is?
Also, I noticed your Finnish engine doesn't seem to be active anymore. I could help you with that particular language, being a native speaker myself.

I don't know how Astrol came up with "acautus" and I certainly can't find what it means or another word that means "fireproof" so I will let him speak on that.
With regard to the Finnish motto thread, just reignite the service, maybe start a new thread but preferably just start where the others left.

It's a typo, actually. Mea culpa.
It should be acaustum, which, according to Lewis & Short, means "incombustible". It tells me it was used by Pliny, and appears to be a Greek loanword.

Thank you for clearing that up! It would have been embarrassing if someone who knows Latin wandered to my profile and saw it... Also, there's a search engine I need to kick around the room for not fixing a tiny typo like that.

I'll admit that I used Google Translate for my motto.

Is "Fidelis Usque Ad Mortem" actually "Faithful Until Death"?

I change my motto a lot, but it's always in Latin. The one I like the best is " nos autem multi sumus unum" which I think means "we are many and we are one", if there are mistakes could you correct them?

I have a creeping suspicion that the Latin in my motto is not grammatically correct.

I wanted my motto to read "Bread and Roses," which I, having forgotten most of the Latin I learned in high school, translated as "Panem et Rosae."

Is this incorrect, as I assume, or was I actually right in the first place?

I'm assuming you'd prefer the more grammatically correct "All are"?

Omnes sunt sociati et omnes sunt diversi.

I think it is. Huh. Would you look at that, Google Translate actually got something right.

Well, as "Panem et Circenses" is actually in the accusative, I would suggest you go with Panem et Rosas.
