What would be the Latin translation of “Free Britons”? I recall that many ancient civilisations referred to their people in their names, like Eranshahr being “Kingdom/Empire of Iranians”, or the “Regnum Romanorum”. I aim to use it in a nation name, being ICly titled the Kingdom of (Free) Britons in English.

That should be "Britanni liberi", I think.

It's a wordplay where un-geometried stands for unequal or unjust, as geometry maintains equality and justness.

It was supposedly inscribed above Plato's lecture space, the original Greek text is as follows:

ἐπεγέγραπτο ἔμπροσθεν τῆς διατριβῆς τοῦ Πλάτωνος ὅτι ἀγεωμέτρητος μηδεὶς εἰσίτω· ἀντὶ τοῦ ἄνισος καὶ ἄδικος. ἡ γὰρ γεωμετρία τὴν ἰσότητα καὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην τηρεῖ.

If you think a slightly different sentence might translate better, feel free to adjust. E.g "noone ignorant of geometry shall enter"

Currently, the party is called “Pax Unio” and it is supposed to mean something along the lines of “Union of Peace”, “Union for Peace”, or “Peace Union”. Is this grammatically correct?

While I can’t find out which vowels are long and short, based off of my prior knowledge of Latin phonology and orthography, I believe it would be vocalized as “Pāx Ūniō” or “Pāx Ūnīō”.

The grammar doesn’t have to be exactly perfect, I just want to make sure it is understandable and makes sense.

A little late, but I can verify. The full name of the nation in Latin would be "Regnum Britannorum Liberorum", but just "Free Britains" would be what Moawi put.

I'd render the first one in the following way: Pax, disciplina, fortitudo.

The second one: Disciplina ferrea.

The word "obligation" is a difficult word to translate because of the different connotations it can have in English, each of which would require a different word in Latin. A moral obligation would be translated as officium, whereas a juridical obligation according to law and right would be translated as munus. If we're talking about someone's obligations towards everyone (family, friends, people, God) with which he has a relationship, the word pietas comes to mind. The word obligatio can also be used, but it is often used when talking about the obligation to pay money.

When I look at your motto, I think I would prefer to use munus, because I assume your nation wants to fulfill its obligations according to the laws of the people.

I don't think a Roman would use est to translate "is" in this context. So I used spectat ad, which in English would mean something like "is directed towards".

Munus nostrum spectat ad populo, rei publicae et veritati.

I think you should use the nominativus "maior" instead of the accusativus "maiorem" (in accordance with "pax"). "Pax Britannica Maior" therefore is the way I would translate it.
