I will note, after reading this quickly, that there is at least one historical inaccuracy: no one in control of the Milograd account ever thought Fudge was actually on our side.

I'm not sure what was occuring, but apparently there was a superregional government that TEP was considering to join somewhere around 2013-2014? Like the EU, I would imagine.

Does anyone know what the name of said org is, and if so, where can information be found about it?

Is there any coup happening in The West Pacific from 2010 to now?

No. The Delegacy has been handed over from Delegate to Delegate without any coups. We did have one Delegate go rogue on us in 2015, but that didn’t last long.

Who's exactly this one rogue delegate? All I remember at that time is multiple telegrams sent at me about the situation and countries being ejected.

Is there a diplomacy tree or chart showing the various treaties/pacts between the well-known groups in Nationstates?

I don't believe so. However it's the standard for region's to document their diplomatic agreements somewhere. Regional Dispatches and forum threads.

There was a brief coup in 2009- I don't remember the couper (might be Wickedly Evil?) but the restored delegate was ROLHEATH, who exclusively communicated in haiku.

Has the playerbase on Nationstates been shrinking? If so, by how much?

It appears to be somewhat true, but I'm not sure if this is a statistical mirage or not.

We currently have 171,896 nations as of my beginning to type this message.

On 2 November 2005, according to the Wayback Machine, we had 112,108 nations. By 15 June 2006, this had risen modestly to 114,601; a year later, on 3 July 2007, we were down to 86,217, which fell further to 68,952 on 7 November 2008, then even more to 56,039 on 21 December 2009.

By 14 March 2011, the trend had reversed itself and we were back up to 73,515 nations, rising even more to 96,909 on 20 March 2012. It continued growing for several more years, reaching 118,821 nations on 25 March 2013, then 124,821 on 10 April 2014, then 140,655 on 15 April 2015. On 16 April 2016, we were up to 189,455 nations, reaching a peak of 197,005 on 26 October 2016. We have slid a bit since then, with 178,290 nations on 28 December 2017, but we've actually gone up from 162,296 on 23 January of this year, so I'd say we're in a pretty healthy place right now.

To clarify, a lot of those nations are puppets, either for R/D or for card farming. An actual gauge would be to look at the WA membership then and now and then roughly gestimate between the two.
