It's amazing just how many "revolutionaries" get brought down by assuming things. For example, I can guarantee you that the Modern Pacific Alliance was not a sham being run by The Pacific.

Feeder and GCR leadership isn't paranoid and insular for the fun of it (even though it is fun to grow a culture like that.) Regions like TNP have shown us what democracy and legislative RP gone wild can do to a region's stability.

An interesting historical note, leading members of The Pacific often held dual citizenship in "democratic" feeders because they were fun to occasionally coup. One must have a hobby, after all.

Not really the aim I had in doing this.

Where my name will persist is the TSP forums, where I accrued an alarming post-count in a short period since founding this year. The fact several hundred of them were forum games is NO MATTER.

If you leave NS your name will be lost amongst the other refuse residents who have flashed for a moment in time only to flame out as quickly as a matchstick.

I have always believed one's credibility comes from the length of time and consistent tone of their statements. If you truly wish for democracy in TP, then work for it. It shan't be easy but if that floats your boat try. But a week long, month long, or heck year long attempt, is a flash relatively speaking and if it fails if the cause is just, keep trying. But if this is merely a stunt give up and do something else, but if I read correctly above that you are quitting NS over this, I'd suggest you reverse course.

If you'd like to hear dance steps on your grave quickly replaced by dandelions, go on and leave, but if you truly have greater intentions say less and do more.

Ant! It's been a while. I can't say I agree with what was done or said here. But we all make mistakes and you can bounce back from it, don't leave NS. If you're playing as a different name now, good luck. I figure you'll eventually have to come clean about your past identity though, I did, lol. Either way, good luck, and hope to see you again, buddy.

Good Luck Bro. I don't support you, and I don't think many people do, but if you keep on pushing at it... You'll make a dent. And once there is one dent, more will follow.

As for Forum Ban from TSP. Don't take it too hard. TSP and TP are staunch allies. I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier.

I would recommend losing vendettas against other regions, unless you can make them fun (tried the whole vendetta thing myself and it gets boring). But in any case finding another region, and getting involved in its development is a good next step.

Hmm, perhaps off topic but I'd like to explore a question. Have you considered that the NPO needs people to organize an opposition movement to hold power? And that if you and the others who oppose Krull stopped opposing Krull it would be more effective? After all, essentially are you not proving that the harsh security measures to prevent coups are necessary by trying to get past them and coup the region? A dictator promising to protect the region needs something to protect it from, and it looks to me like you have filled that need for a little while for some time.

As far as actually couping the region, I think you are facing a tough problem... TP has the scripts to spot and stop any coups (at least from what I've heard), and the gap between the endorsement cap and the delegate is nearly 130. That's hard to beat. Your only chance is catching the region while Krull is on vacation or something, and the chances are that even then someone will see you and alert him so he can stop you from a mobile.

The NPO is very good at what they do, that's why they've earned my respect and the respect of many other NSers.

EDIT: OOOPS, totally thought I was in 'A Call to Arms' in Gameplay. Damn these parallel threads...

Topid, that argument only works up to a point - if the region stagnates, SOMEthing needs to remove the regime at some stage; I feel my group is such a thing. Two hundred feet tall, with death-ray vision, and shouting 'Francoist forces detected' in a manner not unlike everyone's favourite democratic robot Liberty Prime.

Everyone has scripts these days. We're working on that problem. I'd argue it's what the NPO does that is the problem
