No, and somehow I think the hyper-targeted mocking in your signature quite possibly treads into the territory of some sort of rules violation, though I could be wrong. Certainly is tacky and gauche.

If you were going to start mocking me in such a ridiculous way, it would have behooved you to at least use a character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, given that my nation's name and flag are drawn from that show (for the culturally unenlightened, Amy Madison is a recurring character from said show, which is a classic of modern television and should at least be tried by everyone once), such as Willow Rosenberg or Buffy Summers. Or, you know, anyone from that show or it's spinoff Angel the Series. But now we're starting to digress, so back to the point.

I cited my former identity as irrelevant because it is. I came back to NS to answer some issues on this new nation and a handful of old nations that will be CTE within the next two months (as will this one), and to check in with some old friends, and satisfy my curiosity as to what had been happening in this game since I left, some time ago. I won't be sticking around, nor actually engaging in any political involvement or chicanery, so who I was in the past is in fact, of no relevance. Whether or not my past in this game was 'irrelevant' or not is a question you are A) Not entirely equipped to know the answer to, since you don't really know who I was, and B) a question better left to history, and one that really, can't be used to shame me, which apparently was your intent.

I'm not entirely sure what purpose you had in mind with 'Bill Madison' and the associated signature. Just general douchery, or were you hoping to shame me into... something?

I asked because I am genuinely curious. NationStates's last major uptick of Anti-Nazi activity, that I was here for, was the Great Nazi Witch Hunt of 2013, and now apparently it's back on the menu, and since I'm here to check into how the game has gone since I left, I was hoping to find out what had happened.

You mean the practically rhetorical question which is only being asked becuase the answer is quite obviously "no?"

No, the question about why NS was going back to being obsessed with Nazis, hence the creation of CAIN. While the majority of NS has been against Nazis in this game since forever (like all right-thinking people), fighting Nazis in Gameplay was not the active foremost priority of most regions that weren't associated with Antifa, when I was last active here - many regions were interested in it, but there was no major push to organize and do it, like there was during the 'Great Nazi Hunt' in the first half of 2013 (which included the 'Liberate Nazi Europe' affair).

My question, then, was what happened to lead to the creation of a group like CAIN and push Nazism back to the forefront among many regions? Did Nazi Regions become more visible/powerful/populous? Was there an aggressive act in particular by a Nazi Region that brought them back to the table? Was it just that a number of pro-Nazi Hunting politicians happened to be in power in various regions at once? I wanted to know what had happened, as the entire reason I am back here for a week or so is to catch up on what I missed. The elaborate drama of NSGP foreign and military affairs was always my favorite part of this game.

So, is anyone going to answer that question?
