Always do.

Besides, if I survived near-certain death with cancer, only to die due to bad weather, then all the universe really did was put a lot of effort into making a really bad joke.

Will post back in this thread after it all blows over. :)

It all blew over. Had two tornadoes turn north and south respectively, so they both missed my area. The second one came close to the family's small business though. My relatives had a particularly horrible tornado hit their town in southern middle TN, so that sucks.

I understand this severe weather is going to be moving east and causing trouble for people in the eastern US overnight. My prayers are with y'all.

I'm going to have to drive up to Seattle soon, apparently road closures from bad weather all the way there.

So, who else enjoyed having their region spammed with WA-tagged recruitment telegrams by Auralia's Nephmir?

Asgard won't be having anything else to do with Auralia, that's for sure. And neither will I as an individual.

Leave it to Nephmir to wreck a good thing he had going. I genuinely feel bad for the other people in Auralia.

Thought we were trying to make this a less toxic place, and be more accepting of new ideas and strategies in general?

None of y'all lynch vandy for his NS-wide recruitment, I'm not seeing how targeting a smaller, but equally non-discriminating body is so much worse. It's not like he personally wrote the region with why Auralia is better than Asgard or whatever else. If your people not getting a single recruitment TG is so important to you, ask them to block them. Either way, it's my end opinion that any member lost to a one-off general recruitment Telegram was both probably not contributing in the first place, and not a loss worth whining over.

When your "new idea" -- which is not new, by the way -- involves recruiting all of the nations that actually matter (WA nations) from my region, I'm not going to be more accepting of that.

Just for the record, speaking as a UCR Founder, I go on the offensive against pretty much any region that chooses to recruit from Spiritus regardless of the methods it uses. It ain't something new for Nephmir, I've done the same in regards to Vandoosa, Riftend, and any others that may have been happening. We have an established precedent for recruiting brand new nations and newly refounded nations only, and that's because then you're recruiting fairly rather than trying to poach already established nations from everybody else.

Europeia voted against Vandy's condemnation because of said recruitment. I can't speak for others, but we're equally discriminating for all of those that recruit from UCRs.

Shame we can't force Nephy to sign the Arnhelm Declaration. That was one of the first things my region (not Lazarus) ratified .

It's a strange thing really. People getting annoyed that others send them a telegram which they don't have to receive and certainly don't have to read.

I mean, it annoys me as well, but at least I can admit I'm being petty.

Mine are turned off. I'm annoyed with the recruitment from my region, not with receiving the telegram.
