Just imagine if these new nations somehow get 2 endorsements and start making WA proposals? What if they make sizable regions that last only a few weeks? This is going to be weird. Any worries are really about wherever this causes slightly larger youtubers like RT Game etc. start making videos. For those people who watch 2b2t content, this sounds so similar to what happens when big youtubers make 2b2t videos just this time with less anarchy.

Why would people playing the game be a bad thing?

If the proposal is illegal, it won't reach quorum. If it's legal but not good, it still won't reach quorum. If it's legal and good, why should we discount it just because the author is new?

My point was more that the overall NS community isn't particularly tightly knit, but a lot of the sub (or sub-sub) communities may be. Like, over in GP, none of the individual regions will be much affected, and us old people can ignore any number of new people at our pleasure

I highly doubt they’d be respectful. If I am going to be frank, I do make several nations based on notorious regimes on this site, but for the sake of writing a lore for it and making it either lovable or hateable (though I prescribe with the latter as a recipe) in roleplay, but these newcomers? These are going to be people with offensive internet Fowler-based humour.

Who knows a few of these newconers could be great world builders as long as we offer guidance and not judge them harshly everything will be fine.
