I agree with this, I owned up to how stupid it was at the time, letting my ambition blind me, and vaguely recall apologizing publicly in addition. Regardless, the events of this and those leading up to it was 7-10 years ago. I was quite literally a kid at the time. I definitely don't need everyone to like me, but I would appreciate if the past was left where it belongs, as I recall the situation was resolved and handled correctly.

All that really. As one of the folks who lost their main Nation and home region because of the use of Predator I can say yea I did some dumb shit in the past too. I've learned from that past and created the Alstroemerian Commonwealths along side friends.

It's been half a decade since that era. I've paid for and learned from my actions so I'm sure Nephy has too. I think he deserves a new chance.

Red Dusk has been at quite a few of the last year's significant liberation, building up quite a consecutive streak.

Thanks for reminding us how out of touch with the current state of R/D you are, pal. If you'd like, I can guide you back to your armchair?

Nephmir is not a name I've thought of in a loooong time. Welcome back brother. Looks like you and I are stepping back in to interesting times.

I could never be discourteous to a returning giant of gameplay, even if once many years ago I might have disagreed with him or found him annoying. I don't even remember half of what Nephmir did, good or bad, and God knows I've changed since then, so I welcome him back with open arms! May he strive to undo my goodwill in short order!

Unless you were talking about Venico. In which case, cease your slander.

Rubbish. That's stuff, and it happened. Stuff therefore happened. You may now close the historical questions thread.

Final Update on A Liberal Haven:

Following a successful 31-day occupation, Lone Wolves United, in coordination with our military partners, has concluded its operation in A Liberal Haven. The raid previously broke records for its swift piler turnout as reported on previously, and we are happy to note that it continued to do so in the weeks that followed said report. On the 8th of January, the raid surpassed 200 endorsements on delegate Got the Munchies Real Bad Man, and stayed somewhere around that number for the rest of the raid. The raid peaked at 207 endorsements, making this the single largest pile in at least the last half a decade. As an amusing sidenote, the size of the pile apparently unnerved the Rejected Realms to the point they saw it necessary to call pilers to secure their delegacy. Why we would throw away the hold for a raid on TRR remains puzzling, but we appreciate the compliment.

Image

Following four broken updates, defenders halted their siege attempt. While they were off trying unsuccessfully to break LWU's delegacy streak, the raid surpassed 200 endorsements, shattering any remaining turnout records of the last half a decade. The WA passed a liberation proposal, which was functionally useless since half the world had the password, but we would like to thank the resolution's authors for the shiny badge to scribe the raid into the history scrolls of the Security Council. The proposal was written to protect the treasured native community of the region, expecting us to do harm to it, and naturally delegate Vandoosa obliged and banjected half of the thriving the native population at the press of but a single button. This, of course, sparked outrage from defenders. We are no doubt suitably regretful of our actions because defenders no longer like us. Either way, with the World Assembly's expectations lived up to, we feel the time is right to move on to new raids.

2/1/2022, 10:54:12 PM GMT+1: Maineiacs was ejected and banned from A Liberal Haven by Got the munchies real bad man.

In conclusion, with over 200 individual raiders involved, a native of over five years banjected, a liberation proposal passed to note our achievement down, a sleeper of over 5 years successfully activated and a delegacy streak of 1974 days shattered, this raid has been an absolute and complete victory for raiding, and should be seen as a testament to the feats that Raider Unity can achieve. We wish to thank The Black Hawks, The Brotherhood of Malice, Karma, Osiris, Kantrias, Empire of Great Britain, The Tartan Army and Caer Sidi, as well as the mercenaries that came to our aid, for their incredible contributions to the raid. It has been absolutely amazing to see this huge show of raider support, and it has been equally amazing to work with all the different organisations and individuals on this raid. We look forward to many more.

This operation will be forever known as another turning point in the long-winding history of R/D. Countless players will be able to cite A Liberal Haven as the reason their passion for the game was re-ignited. Garchy and Maine chose to now rest peacefully in The Liberal Haven, leaving the future of the now-Liberated region up to exciting speculation. Will ALH, like Christmas, boom in population and engagement after its doors were force-flung open by the will of the Security Council? I'm assuming so.

Thank you to every single one of you that answered the call for this glorious invasion, I made so many new friends and re-kindled relationships with people I never thought I'd see again. When I asked Vandoosa, "who are we attributing this victory to?", his response was an enthusiastic "Raider Unity!" From that moment on, I knew what our future looked like. The cooperation between our organizations to secure and document pilers was the birth of a new face of raider unity, one forged in the fires of 2021's battlefield hardships and despite defender longing will not be weakened any time soon.

May this be but the first in a long string of victories for the new year. Glory to all!
