I'd assume so. And Madison people (which might just be me) are willing to commute.

I could make it to London or Birmingham without too much hassle (they're the ends of the train line our town is just about on), so if there are UK NSers about, which one would they prefer?

Edit: I won't be participating.

T-accessible? Was ist das?
I think it's a reference to MBTA, the public transit system in Boston.

I signed up, under "Portland" because it seems to force you to select a location.

This discussion just got started (see time/date in opening post) and so far only a few people have signed up. Chances are good as word spreads more places will be floated.

Yeah chances are good if you're a minor this probably won't be something to participate in.
(I remember being a minor, at the time thinking things were so unfair because it was legal 'discrimination.' Just take a deep breath, there'll be other opportunities later on in life.)

When I can! The whole North Dakota thing not happening kind of threw that off, besides I said it would have been after about 3 months, so you can still wait :P

I never noticed any pollution, but god they need to redo the Tullamarine Freeway or build a railway line or something.

I just spotted the Account / Email Settings link. Don't forget to go there and uncheck all those checkboxes unless you're fond of spam. Yeah, it's a somewhat crappy, self-promoting site with a poor user interface and an inability to correlate between nation names and real names ... but hey, the price is right.

Well, I've got the meetup listed for Los Angeles now. Everything is obviously very, very tentative, but if there's people interested, then we can see about going forward with actual, like, planning.

I've registered, and listed London as the relevant community because I suspect getting me to there would be easier than getting more of you to Worthing.
Mind you, the site's assuming that I'm in actually in Crawley (which, for those of you who don't know, is about halfway between those two locations... just next to Gatwick airport) instead, presumably because that's where the public-access compter system that I'm currently using (in my local library) is based, and it won't let me redefine my location unless I give it my full postcode which I refuse to do as I consider that to be something the site has no proper need to know.
