Repeal "Prevention of Torture"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation
Category: Repeal
Resolution: GA#9
Proposed by: Emorum
Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #9: Prevention of Torture (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Strong) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Argument: The act of torture is a necessary and vital way of security of one's country and the livelihood of one's state. By condemning torture, you have condemned many states to a life of agonizing rebuttal by terrorists and "patriots" alike!
We must repeal this treasonous and nation-damning resolution by the World Assembly.
Approvals: 3 (Emorum, Lustrous Lemurs, DiCinnoa)
Status: Lacking Support (requires 52 more approvals)
Voting Ends: in 3 days

Grays Harbor wrote:Native protection act
A resolution to promote funding and the development of education and the arts.
Category: Education and Creativity
Area of Effect: Cultural Heritage
Proposed by: Benutanairan
Description: Upon consideration of the General Assembly we wish for natives of all regions to have culutral protection programs in a world where their culture is rapidly dissapearing and also allowing native reservations for them to govern their own affairs without interference
I was wondering if anybody could write a proposal so generic that it could be considered to cover everybody at once and still do nothing. I thought no, can't do it.
I guess I was wrong.

Economic Stability
A resolution to reduce income inequality and increase basic welfare.
Category: Social Justice
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Rustika
Description: UNDERSTANDING- That a lower class workers survival is on his wage, and that if he is fired he will go through periods of hardships attempting possibly not even getting a new job. Realizing that a lower class citizen holds up the country.
DEMANDING-
1-That the minimum wage is to be increased by 50% to hold up for a workers needs. If a minimum wage does not exist then a one must be introduced. And seeing as they didn't already have one, the minimum wage must be the average for their entire region, or if not it must be a set amount that is to be agreed on.
3-That mechanization is to be legal as long, as long as it does not affect a worker by cutting his salary, replacing him, affecting his health etc.
4- That the corporation pay full wage to a female worker in labour and pregnancy. If the corporation is unable to pay this, then the corporation is to fill out a pamphlet listing all the companies assets, income and loans, the company also lists all the spending, so as the government can loan them money to pay the maternity leave. A group under government pay check will supervise companies to see that the assets and spending are valid. If the corporation cannot pay back the loan, the government will take 25% percent of the corporations earnings after the workers are payed until the loan is payed back.
5-All workers must be in safe conditions and if they aren't the workers health (if they agree to be in dangerous conditions) is the corporation's responsibility. If a worker gets injured under corporation responsibility the worker has grounds to sue. But the corporation may set a super visor that the worker must live with, to make sure that the worker/s don't purposely hurt them selves to sue.
6-At least 2 employes performing manual labour must be promoted a year.
7-If a worker is fired he must be payed 3 quarters pay for 3 months or until he finds a new job. If a corporation cannot afford this, they must follow the steps listed in declaration number 4. Once again if the corporation cannot pay back the loan the government will take 25% of the corporations earnings after the workers have been payed until the loan is payed back.
HOPING-That this declaration will raise awareness and promote social equality.
