Description: Animals are somewhat like people, and need to have some sort of care, wether it be by humans or nature itself. In recent months, landslides and floods have damaged the land in Kopria, causing many animals to be displaced. They die of hunger, thirst or disease. But if countries vote FOR this act, set animals can be brought to a clinic and be nursed back to health. So, that means that the ASPCA and other Animal Help clinics can get more work done, without having to risk heavy pay costs. So to conclude, if voted for, this act will save thousands of animal lives, and prove that thw World assembly is not filled with mindless fools.

Joint Humanitarian Aid Flights

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Description: Honoured members of The World Assembly.

The Peoples Republic of Karazthan has in its military bases around the country several Antonov An-124 transport planes, that are not currently being used to any military of civilian transportation duties.
The PRPK wishes to rent six of these aircrafts to be used in humanitarian aid operations, particulary transporting medical supplies and food aid to the developing countries.
However these flights can not be flown without the help from the members of the WA.

The proposal of the PRPK is following:

1. The Airplanes will be flown by pilots of the PRPKs renowed air force and would be painted, for the duration of the usage, to the colours of the WA.

2. The aid mission would last from six to eight months and would require many of the WA countries to lend their airport facilities to be used for the service of the aircrafts, including re-fuelling. The jet fuel used for these operations would be payed jointly by the participating WA countries.

3. The countries receiving the aid must gurantee the safety of the landing zones. The PRPK can send an peacekeeping unit of some 150-250 soldiers from the Peoples Republican Army to escort the shipments, if necessary.

4. All the aid shipments will be funded by the WA.

5. The PRPK reserves to call one or all the airplanes back to Karathans territory in a event of major disaster or armed conflict.

A Cleaner Environment

Description: Our climate is changing due to concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere. However, it's not at all clear what we can do to slow and halt this trend. All nations must call on the World Assembly to do more to combat our increasingly alarming environmental problems whitch could have adverse effects on all nations.

This resolution will result in the following action:

A move to greening our cities will improve the local environment. More foliage along roads, around houses, shops and offices, on roofs and in small, new urban farms, encouraged by local, national and international schemes will help to clean the air and support more wildlife.

Nations expected to produce less waste. Products will have less packaging and more products and packaging will be recyclable or easily compostable or biodegradable. That means less litter on the streets.

This resolution will effectively provide vital support for our environment.
