Not only does it do nothing, it tries to do nothing to non-member nations as well.

And with a "strong" strength as well.

Again, New Folk... NOT EVERY-BLOODY-THING REQUIRES "STRONG" STRENGTH FOR A PROPOSAL. Most don't even deserve "significant". And if you want to use 'strong", try and make it worthwhile, and not so vague as to be incomprehensible.

This is another job for the "Bloody Stupid" category of proposals, methinks.

Illegal due to the proposal doing nothing.

Does nothing? By the Saints, it SAYS nothing! Complete and utterly unintelligible gibberish. Bloody Stupid.

Not to mention that there could be a branding problem since the "ugur" is the authoring nation's national animal.

And there I was thinking it might be a RW volation somehow talking about the Uighurs. On the other hand, that might possibly be the use of people as a National Animal - that's a serious no-no, isn't it?

Methinks Kaputer didn't really think this through. Free trade with everyone, except the people who don't want it? Can one single nation bring down international trading links, simply by refusing to make it Free?

Actually, if this did mandate completely free trade between all nations, as it seems to want to do, that would qualify it as strong.

Helping the Entrepreneur
A resolution to develop industry around the world.

Category: Advancement of Industry
Area of Effect: Environmental Deregulation
Proposed by: Camarone

Description: These are the 5 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Improve the Economy:

1. Entrepreneurs create businesses that hire people. This is the topmost reasons why entrepreneurs improve the economy. Their businesses require a number of employees to help them run the business – from accountants to computer programmers to human resource staffs all businesses have them.

Entrepreneurs provide the employees steady job and income. The workers’ income put food on the table and feed the family members. The same income will be needed to be able to buy necessities such as food, clothing and shelter. This in turn will help spur the economy and provide necessary jobs and businesses for people that meet these basic needs.

2. Entrepreneurs pay taxes. The businesses that the entrepreneurs established are required to pay necessary local, state, and/or the federal government taxes. The tax dollars from the businesses will be used by the government to provide people with basic services such as health care, transportation, education, construction and so many others.

3. Entrepreneurs create demand for products which in turn create jobs and other businesses. Entrepreneurs need to buy products in order to produce finished goods. They need raw materials. Sometimes these raw materials are finished goods themselves, for instance gold.

Buying raw materials for their businesses will create other businesses which in turn create more jobs. These suppliers may require workers to keep tract of their inventories and orders. And the cycle goes on and on, further stimulating the economy.

4. Entrepreneurs introduce new technologies to the market. This is the disclosive nature or history-making practices of entrepreneurs. They come up with new technologies, create new products and provide new services. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computers, introduce us to Mac and iPod. Bill Gates founded Microsoft. The works of these two individuals led to the creation of millions of other software programs that we see today.

5. Entrepreneurs stimulates the economy by instilling confidence in people. The economic health of a nation generally depends on its GDP (Gross Domestic Product) performance. Entrepreneurs, through the jobs and businesses they create, are vital to the GDP equation. Having a healthy economy makes people confident to invest, live and work in that place even in times of recession.

What Camarone proposes is that all small businesses and Entrepreneurs receive a tax break. Furthermore the World Assembly should assure that no nation be able to impose a tax rate of more then 25 percent on these businesses. Also the World Assembly should do its best to promote the further growth of these people through low interest loans and grants that will provide these people with the capital to mature and develope. Once the business are on steady ground they should repay the loans.

A special consul should be established to review all loan request, this consul will be completely independent of political influences. The Consul will operate with a start up loan from the World Assembly and then it will maintain its self through the loans and low interest collected from the small business. Also they will be in charge of checking up on the companies that take out these loans to ensure that they are using the funds for the intended purposes, if not they will be punished through a 20 percent increase in interest payments for every offense.

OK, some thought actually went into this one, and I won't be making any "its bloody stupid" comments about it, But

Why is it in the "environmental deregulation" category? It seems much better suited for the "free trade" category.

I'm actually not sure it does - could be argued that it merely mandates that all member-states of the WA maintain their own armies. The way it's phrased is ambiguous. And quite possibly Bloody Stupid.

The Purchase of Territory Act
Category: Advancement of Industry
Area of Effect: Environmental Deregulation
Proposed by:Amerivonous

Description: Section 1. Any nation, within the WA, shall have the authority to purchase territory from nations who do not seek to hold that land.

Section 2. The payment amount shall be based amount of acres that territory contains. Payment shall consist of 10 cents per acre of the nation that wishes to sell their territory.

Section 3. The nation wishing to sell have 30 days to back out of the deal with no legal troubles.

Section 4. Any bill coming into conflict with this law shall be declared null and or void.

Mandating a pre-set price for land, with no regards as to the quality and/or tactical importance and/or cultural importance, etc., etc., of that land is already pretty damn stupid... but 10¢ per acre?! (Not to mention that it isn't really needed, as the only thing it is doing is setting a ridiculously low price on land transactions, which should be entirely negotiated between the nations involved.)

Bloody stupid, without a doubt.

I'm still trying to figure out how it qualifies as Environmental Deregulation.

It seems to fit more under the "Proposer hasn't a clue as to what he is talking about" category.

And then there's that Section 4, which is either the author's way of taking automatic compliance into account (which is stupid since it's automatic), or they're trying to slip in a repeal of any resolutions which conflict with this proposal (which would be illegal and I believe, in this case, unnecessary).

Helping the Entrepreneur

Category: Advancement of Industry
Area of Effect: Tort Reform

Furthermore the World Assembly must assure that no nation be able to impose a tax rate of more then 25 percent on these businesses. Also the World Assembly needs to do its best to promote the further growth of these people through low interest loans and grants that will provide the capital to mature and develope. Once the business are on steady ground they will repay the loans.

A special consul will be established to review all loan request, this consul will be completely independent of political influences.

Illegal: minor branding but wrong category (should be Free Trade)

It's actually got no references to Bill Gates on section four, so it must be a resubmission.
