Repeal text has nothing to do with the target resolution (it seems to be talking about World Space Administration). If that isn't an illegality per se, there's no active clause.

I'd say honest mistake. Not a ding-able offence.

It being a one-liner is dingable though, right?

Repeal "Protection of Sapient Rights"

A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#338

Proposed by: Charmstead

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #338: Protection of Sapient Rights (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: [b]Description:[b] WA General Assembly Resolution #338: Protection of Sapient Rights (Category: Human Rights) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

[b]Argument: The World Assembly[b]

[b]Applauding[b] the recognition of need for further human rights and equality for all citizens regardless of differences;

[b]Recognizing[b] that the Resolution demands rights provided to humans be given to great apes, elephants, cetaceans and some avian species.

[b]Concerned[b] that with the inclusion of non-humans given full rights destroys zoological programs and creates a possibility for unjust rulings and potentially crippling the fishing industry.

[b]Further Concerned[b] that the Resolution does not make provision for preventing beastiality and interspecies marriage

[b]Noting[b] that the Resolution allows member nations to define what beings are considered sapient allowing said nations the ability to declare humans to be non-sapient should they so see fit.

Hereby Repeals General Assembly Resolution # 338, Protection of Sapient Rights

I have to wonder, did they even read what they are trying to repeal? Or is this a case of "I'll just make up some shit that sounds bad to get this repealed!".

International Disaster Fund

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights

Strength: Significant

Proposed by: The Confederacy of New England

Description: ACKNOWLEDGING that no International Foundation dedicated in lending grants to less-economically favoured countries in dire need of help has not (So far) been stablished.

PROPOSING that a International Disaster Fund be set to loan grants of money (In their respective amounts)to the nations in need around the world.

BEARING IN MIND many Nations suffering from Natural Disaster Repercutions, Severe Economic Recession and Internal Conflicts do not have the necessary funds to rebuild their infrastructure, leaving its inhabitants in a severe state of poverty.

FULLY AWARE that many of those nations would take time to totally repay their debts with the fund.

EMPHASIZING that the time said nations would take to repay the money back would be used to restore their nation to its former glory. Greatly improving the infrastructure, life quality and general economy of said nations.

CONFIDENT on the fact that once those nations are reconstructed and with a stable government & economy (With the help of the loans granted to them by the fund), they will benefit to Global Trading and commerce as a whole. Giving a good Economic & Diplomatic return to all nations involved.

Destroy the World Assembly.

Yeah, you can't even repeal GA #1 because there's no repeal link, either.

Yeah, you can't even repeal GA #1 because there's no repeal link, either.

And if you force the game to show a repeal page (take another repeal URL and change "repealid" to zero), you will get an error upon submitting, an error that says you are trying to repeal a repeal.

If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Harsher Laws for Gun Purchase

A resolution to tighten or relax gun control laws.

Category: Gun Control

Decision: Tighten

Proposed by: Arorska

Description: Description: The following resolution would prevent guns to get into the hands of criminals and people or persons with mental health problems.

Argument: The World Assembly needs to do something with the increased amounts of shootings and gun related crime by making it harder for people that want to use weapons for wrong doings.

Noting: The Resolution will reduce crime with out needing to increase police funding while reducing health costs.

Recognizing: that the Resolution will bring a more peaceful world and weapons being in the hands of capable people.

Concerned:If we reduce gun laws crime will rise and health cost will skyrocket due to the amount of gun related crimes.

Further Concerned that while the Resolution makes purchasing weapons harder it dosen't mean people will not be able to own or get weapons.

In the end the best we can do for our children and the future is reduce gun related crimes while we still can.

Does nothing. At all. Only empty sloganeering.

Repeal "Protection of Sapient Rights"

A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#338

Proposed by: Utahisdi Gadohi

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #338: Protection of Sapient Rights (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: There are humans, there may be extraterrestrial intelligent beings among us, but the list grows very short, even shorter if you dismiss that second (proverbial 'little green men from' where ever outside of earth) hypothetical or whimsical hope that is so common. Animals are not the same as humans. To imagine that they think or feel like us is called anthropomorphism, a fantasy at best, a delusion at worst. As for computers, the decision tree has been a programming tool since the very beginning of making electro-mechanical "brains" -- an old euphemism for computer, something akin to anthropomorphism. If you knew what was 'under the hood' of 'smart devices' you would know that there is nothing there that a human didn't put there -- well, maybe a bug, and I heard from the grand lady of computing, Grace Hopper, herself, that the first real computer bug was a moth caught in an electro-mechanical switch that was part of the American machine in the wee years (she says in the late 1930s) WWII.

Yeah, chock full of RLR. Also bloggy and rambling.

Prohibiting War Crime Immunity

A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights

Strength: Strong

Proposed by: Germantica

Description: The World Assembly,

NOTING that history is written by the victors of war, conquered nations have their rights stripped of them during trial.

Further Noting: Even if one party has won a conflict it gives them no right to be exempt from facing their crimes.

CONCERNED that history has proven that criminals have gotten off without paying their debt for committing horrific crimes, even the victors of conflict in some cases have been even more despicable and brutal than the defeatists could be.

HORRIFIED that war crimes have gone unpunished simply because it was done as an “act to stop a tyrant” or “necessary to win the war”

BELIEVING that all parties before accusing must be able to provide evidence that proves the accused have committed a certain crime and that the prosecuting party has not done crimes that are similar or in recourse to what the accused committed.

ACKNOWLEDGING that some crimes are committed in recourse to crimes committed before hand, never the less all crimes must be accounted for.

INSISTING all nations at the end of conflict step up and receive their consequences for their illegal actions in time of war specified by international war crime doctrine and regulation.

AFFIRMING that in any outcome of war, a committee will be set up to insure a fair trial so that no war crimes committed by the victor or the defeated go unpunished.

*CLARIFYING that the amount of text able to be used in this bill dictates that another bill clarifying the process of the war crime trials this bill will need to be implemented in the next sister bill of this kind, meaning if this bill is passed a procedure bill will follow.

THEREFORE with the approval of this bill and the procedure bill to follow, these guidelines will be henceforth implemented into warfare doctrine, Relief effort function/reprisal, refugee sustainability/importance, and finally WA LAW!

HEREBY prohibit any aggressor or nation to get away with war crimes without facing their allotted consequence.

Approvals: 0

Status: Lacking Support (requires 79 more approvals)

At least in the category "Silly", as my head really hurts now, but I don't have a lot of doubt stating the proposal is incomplete in the proposal itself nonetheless, and declaring that another resolution would follow it to complete it is somehow illegal too. Might be illegal in some other way too. I don't know much about those damn rules.

But I mean, if you're feeling it, scream WA LAW!!

A backwards House of Cards is the only way I can come up with to describe this. It's a proposal that needs another resolution as a foundation in order for this to do anything, yet the other resolution doesn't exist. In all the years I've been playing NS I can't think of any other time that I've seen something like this.

GM Food Grading Agency

A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.

Category: Environmental

Industry Affected: Agriculture

Proposed by: Odd Republic

Description: CONCERNED that many foods contain Genetically Modified Organisms, or GMOs, which may compromise quality in the name of quantity, reducing nutritional benefits, along with potentially contaminating the environment.

I: Assess the healthiness of each new genetically modified food to assure that it is as nutritious as the plant(s) it is based off of

III: Ban GMOs not in compliance from use as food staples

IV: Label all passed GMOs

GMO FOOD shall be defined as any organism with an unnaturally modified genome intended for consumption.

THIS PROGRAM SHALL be funded by the WA General Fund, created in GA#17, and entities utilizing GMOs.

Repeal "Nuclear Arms Possession Act"

A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.

Category: Repeal

Resolution: GA#10

Proposed by: Capitalizt Abidawe

Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #10: Nuclear Arms Possession Act (Category: International Security; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: Noting that due to more recent events this Act is in need of rewording and elaboration;

Realizing that even though it does handle a great point it is no longer completely relevant and could use an update;

Stating that any nations residing in the WA that chooses to possess Nuclear Weapons to use for the defense of their nation should be subject to certain protocol that are not discussed within this Act;

Further Stating that elaboration will bring forth the need for enforcement of the necessary protocol to make the world a safer and more peaceful place for all citizens of every nation and that all WA Nations that choose not to follow these protocol should be subject to lose their Nuclear Arms rights;

Noting that if this Act is repealed, the update of Nuclear Arms Protocol will be made promptly;

Hereby repeals the Nuclear Arms Possession Act.
Sigh, it isn't even Tuesday.

The Moral Bailout

A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.

Category: Moral Decency

Strength: Strong

Proposed by: Wome

Description: The society of the modern world, as we are today, is morally bankrupt. The nations of the world are legalizing all sorts of laws that mirror the reasons that the city of Sodom were destroyed. If we do not turn back, we will all be saved. We must bail out the world from this bankruptcy, and let morals return to the everyday average life, so that our children may grow up good people.

Yeah, whatever. :palm:
Everything you know about me is wrong. Or a rumor. Something like that.
