A convenient attitude, but not one that would necessarily attract support.

Full support! One of most well-written drafts I've read so far, excellent job. This will definitely do well if (when) it comes to vote. :p

Very nice job Vara, well researched etc., etc. Look forward to voting in support of this as it has now made quorum.

And will go to vote at minor update today.

I suppose clout and popularity of authors is more important than proposal quality or even nominees.

For one, the clauses are constructed just as any other commendation should be. For two, there is plenty of detail, and any more would pass the character limit for submission. For three, this is passing on a near ten-to-one ratio. For four, since when do you have enough SC experience to call a perfectly good resolution that the author worked hard on "horrible"?

And this from someone whose efforts in the SC are best described as “barely literate”. To be honest you wouldn’t know a well written proposal if it got up and smacked you around the head with a kipper.

Actually, I have done a lot more. I helped almost get a proposal (not written by y'all type of people) to quorom, using my special WA powers. Also wtf is a kipper? No one uses that language no more.

Who is this God person you are talking about?

A kipper is a fat herring (caught in season) that has been split through the back, gutted, opened flat, salted or brined to reduce its water content and then cold smoked. This is a process that cures and dries the fish while imparting a smoky flavour, without exposing it to heat. How can you not know this. Also quorum is spelt .....um, not ....om.
