Resolution still looks good. But, some feedback on one clause.

Thrilled by Pallaith’s work as TNP Foreign Affairs Minister to continue a project to catalogue information on TNP’s embassy regions, known as the World Factbook Project, which subsequent ministers expounded upon, was incorporated in TNP’s diplomatic reports, and which was released for the edification of the general republic;
It could be a better idea to focus less on the impacts of the project (not completely remove, just less focus) and discuss a bit more on what exactly Pallaith did in continuing the project. Did they expand the # of regions listed? Reform the templates? Etc. Saying they merely continued the project doesn't provide much information on what they did for the project.

I love everything else!

I can ask Pallaith, but my understanding is that that is quite literally what they did. It was an initiative they continued to build on which has only recently come to fruition.

Really? The Black Hat Guy, the delegate of Versutian Federation (TVF's predecessor), was swinging for 160 at the start of 2014 - a time when the world's most endorsed Delegate, McMasterdonia, wielded about 470 votes.

TCB, XKI and Europe are the only UCRs today whose delegates have a third of TNP's voting power. Did Pallaith ever reach those heady heights or was he a fairly unremarkable "upper middle-class" UCR delegate, so to speak - either in terms of raw numbers (150ish endorsements) or proportionally (a third as powerful as TNP)?

Pallaith lobbied for its inclusion and its relative to TVF, not its predecessors.

So I'd like to clear the air on this one. This is, in my opinion, deliberately missing the point. It's lovely that Black Hat got there, but this resolution is only talking about the post-2015 period when Ghostopolis was most relevant there. Great that we want to try to point that out, but :shrug:

Also, from Ghost re: the WFE project, because the current wording on that clause is unsatisfactory:
I developed a plan to make WF entry updates part of the regular ambassador report, with the eventual goal of supplanting it as our primary document for updates from each region, as well as a plan for ambassadors to do the bulk of the coding. I believe that this kept the project alive and didn’t let it fade into obscurity due to its difficulty. So yeah I continued it, but I also laid the groundwork for how it could maintain a regular and permanent place in our FA work

I would welcome your suggestions on how to edit that clause to encompass that.

On another note, my current thinking on submission is some time between October 7 and 10 because that fits best with my schedule.

How did the contributions to TVF benefit the rest of the world? Also, always weird whenever the most important content is not put at the top...

Assured by Ghost’s work shortly after their arrival in the region in reviving and professionalizing the North Pacific (TNP)’s Ministry of World Assembly Affairs by reintroducing the consistent publication of voting recommendations for the first time since 2014, a practice that continues to this day;
I'd suggest including the timeframe of when Ghost revitalized the Ministry.

Thrilled by Pallaith’s work as TNP Foreign Affairs Minister to continue a project to catalogue information on TNP’s embassy regions, known as the World Factbook Project, which subsequent ministers expounded upon, became a key part of the work of The North Pacific's diplomatic corps, and was incorporated in TNP’s diplomatic reports;
I feel like the subsequent ministers part here is extraneous. Also, I think you're overstating the importance of the World Factbook Project. Diplomatic Corps should be capitalized.

Applauding Ghost’s service as Delegate of TNP where they helped to reform the region in a variety of ways, such as:
  • Creating the Gameside Advocates, a group of nations which serves as a liaison between nations which use the Regional Message Board to communicate with their fellow leaders and the broader Government of the North Pacific so that the Government can better represent and serve all residents,
Eh. Creating is a bit of a strong word. Rebranding might be better. The RMB Guardians mostly did the exact same thing which Ghost then replaced with the GAs. While there were hopes for the GAs to be an improvement on the Guardians, those never materialized (partially due to me bine g unable to commit time to the project). This isn't really worthwhile being added. At the end of the day, it just ended up being a name change.

  • Fostering improvements in TNP's communications infrastructure, ensuring that The Northern Light was more frequently published, a trend continued and expanded under El Fiji Grande;
  • More frequently published for his term would be a better description. Also, "fostering improvements" is super generic. What does that actually mean?

    Saluting Ghost’s commitment to making their presence known in the wider international community as they have through their personal philosophy of "optimistic diplomacy", a fact best observed through their organization of interregional coalitions and events such as:
    You should probably mention what "optimistic diplomacy" is.
    [list][*]The UPPERCUT Faction which successfully held its own during previous iterations of the regular nuclear apocalypses which befall the universe, partly as a result of Pallaith’s status as one of the Commanders of TNP’s atomic forces,
    Shame that Pallaith seems to have a habit recently of turning into a nuclear wasteland tho. :P
    [*]The Friendship Fair, which brought together all of The North Pacific’s treated allies, Osiris, the New Pacific Order, and the West Pacific in a cultural affair replete with all manner of fun and games,
    You may wish to note that Osiris, the NPO and TWP are not TNP's treated allies as that is a way that this clause could be well. Also, is the entire point of this clause just that people had fun?

    Most of these are well taken and I thank Praetor for taking the time to do this.

    The only bits of this I'm going to reject out of hand are the TVF thing (I'm trying to write this chronologically, or at least as much so as possible). The rest of the critiques seem easy fixes that would strengthen this.

    Edit: These should be fixed.

    It’s not a commendation for raiding just because it has the word “raid” in it.

    And even if it were, who cares? It’s still an achievement worthy of being included.

    Now that this has jumped up the queue, due to Abacathea withdrawing their Declaration, I would like to say that I enjoyed reading this proposal - a good lot of research well presented, nicely written with some deft touches of humour.

    All in all I am happy to recommend a “For” vote to TWP’s Delegate.

    The South Pacific's World Assembly Delegation has cast the Coalition's vote FOR this proposed resolution, Commend Pallaith, and warmly encourages fellow member regions to vote FOR.

    'No Rec' or No Recommendation indicates a vote where, in the absence of a recommendation from the Office of WA Legislation, the Admiral Delegate General voted according to the majority stance of World Assembly members in the South Pacific.

    Good to see the South Pacific being reasonable on this. I saw XKI voted against for whatever reason.

    XKI did release its own recommendation. Though one so bare it would shiver in July. And of course, the only against opinion is from Apatasaurus, and Saurus’ statement is…just because it has a raidervision clause? I mean seriously, I could write a better recommendation, and I’m not even sure how to format a quote.

    That and the fact their only against quote was from Python. This made more of an argument for the proposal than anything.
