Currently down by over 400 votes and that number is steadily climbing.

As expected, almost. Im surprised that a few delegates are deciding to support this poorly written mess.

On the bright side, if this does somehow pass, it's an easy target for a repeal. :p

Just watching people trip all over themselves racing to try to repeal it should be fun to watch.

I kinda miss the days when we'd see multiple drafts with [INSTA-REPEAL] tags on them while something was still at vote.

Maybe LadyRebels did a lot for TSP later and that is worth commending but its history sounds awfully opportunistic. As if the switch to TSP was made only to still have some relevance after ACC went down. Powerful move? Yes. Commendable? Not quite; more cunning, on the contrary.

Pity. I was hoping to see this crash and burn, but instead, it just died like an insect on a highway. Alas, I suppose that's another useless proposal being cast off into the void of failures. Not that this one was of much value, given the sheer amount of fluff and a harsh lack of solid points to show that the person who made the proposal actually did their research, instead relying harshly on word of mouth... Which is not reliable for a serious proposal.

Sad to see this defeated :(

Anyway, I'll likely be attempting this again in the future (6? or so months).

Why attempt it again? I don't think you'll have much of an argument even six months from now that LadyRebels is commendable, which your proposal failed to do.

If the criticism is too much filler, isn't the solution just to redraft to try to get rid of the "filler"? Lol

Tbf, the solution probably would’ve been to do that from the beginning :p

I mean, most of the feedback I got was unhelpful "it's terrible" and not helping improve it :p

If most of the feedback boils down to "it's terrible," then that's when you should stop.

I for one am willing to recognize that Refuge's posts full of well-crafted feedback exist, even if Python isn't. :p

Seriously, it's easy to say "So just less filler and I can resubmit, yeah?" when you ignore the existence of the most poignant rebuttal of your proposal.

Not only that but Sedge made a fairly damning post as well basically ripping down one of the platforms the Commend was based on.
