Hyper aggressive scrutiny from raiders about the use of a liberation has always been weird as heck to me. Presumably native consent was not acquired prior to invading a region and shuttering 3500 embassies, justified only by the raider saying they didn't like this place they didn't even live in. But when defenders are to intervene in an occupation, it must be legally bulletproof, have a pressing desire from vocally and politically minded natives, who repeatedly state their wishes in every visible area, and operating their account at whatever the expectation is at that second.
It's a jarring double-standard.
