Part of this is wholly due to them being partisan party with in R/D thus having an agenda and part of this is past and personal experiences with their organization.

Naturally raiding, on the other hand, is entirely impartial and able to operate without controversy.

Hyper aggressive scrutiny from raiders about the use of a liberation has always been weird as heck to me. Presumably native consent was not acquired prior to invading a region and shuttering 3500 embassies, justified only by the raider saying they didn't like this place they didn't even live in. But when defenders are to intervene in an occupation, it must be legally bulletproof, have a pressing desire from vocally and politically minded natives, who repeatedly state their wishes in every visible area, and operating their account at whatever the expectation is at that second.

It's a jarring double-standard.

It’s not a double standard at all. Raiding isn’t about the natives, but for most defenders, defending is.

I've re-typed this a couple times, but the basics boiled down to you might be right about raiders, about it being a double standard, you might be. *Shrugs* Who knows? But I'm not going to argue on that because it's be done a thousand times. I'm not going to let you redirect the argument because none of that argument negates the fact that Defenders should be held accountable for the things they say and do, which is my answer to Alfonzo's question about what motivated me to request AGM to be outspoken about his wishes. I wanted surety and transparency.

As I said I'm voting for because it is what AGM wants and what I said I would do. It's not what I'd do in their luxurious goblin shoes, but not my call vote the way AGM wants folks! Do it! I support this Liberate.

Dear all,

I just would like to say thank you

- to Vengeance up on those who invades and HumanSanity for all the help, communication, advice and patience to secure the region

- to HumanSanity for representing my interest here in the SC

- to the authors of the liberation/repeal and all the nations speaking here in support and all the voters who supported the resolutions

- to all defenders (TITO/10000 Islands, The League of Conservative Nations, The United Defenders League, The South Pacific, Valhalla, Thaecia, The Snakes and maybe more?) and random folks helping or trying to help to secure the region (I don't know how to personally reach the relevant people in the dispatch quoted, so maybe someone can help to send my thankful regards. Also sorry again for the ejections).

- to the newly recruited natives of The Embassy and all our supportive embassy partners

-to the raiders for treating us with respect even though they raided us. Of course generally it isn't nice to get raided and that was a little stressful too. But I didn't feel like getting bullied.

Overall this was fun (also witnessing the discussions here in the SC threads) and I really hope all the efforts invested will enable the region to thrive for a few more years and that we don't have to go through the whole thing again anytime soon. Because that wouldn't be fun.

Cheers! : )

(sorry, I think I accidentally quoted myself to do edits instead of editing my post above. Thus, I deleted that quote here, and edited above...)
