You might want to check the legality of adding “Repeal: Promotion of Recycling” - it’s work done as a member of the Secretariat and therefore could be illegal under R1.

While I don't have the exact ruling on hand, I believe that R1 only applies to actions taken as a site volunteer within the scope of their official responsibilities. Passing or coauthoring resolutions is not within the scope of the Secretariat's official responsibilities as a site volunteer, and unlike issue editors, members of the Secretariat don't have access to anything that gives them an inherent unfair advantage above regular players when it comes to writing and passing resolutions. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No, you’re not incorrect, I am. Found the relevant ruling, last paragraph of the linked post.

Given the fairly straightforward and uncontroversial nature of this proposal, I’ll likely be submitting soon if there are no outstanding issues.

I see no way to view the references to LL and dossiers as anything but a rule 1 violation. It’s clear you are trying to reference them editing issues since LL did not write any issues.

Commended by SC 236,
WA Delegate of Forest from March 20th, 2007 to August 19, 2020.
Author of WA Resolutions: SC 221, SC 224, SC 233, SC 243, SC 265, GA 403, GA 439, GA 445,GA 463,GA 465,
Issues Editor since January 20th, 2017 with some down time.
Author of 27 issues. First editor of 44.
Moderator since November 10th 2017 with some down time.

That was not my intention as all. “Dossiers” refers to issues. This section:
a plethora of other dossiers which Sierra Lyricalia has directly assisted in the writing of both through their own name and under the name of the tandem state of Logophilia Lyricalia

Is a reference to GI activity. It’s the only mention of LL in the proposal.

If it’s definitely a violation, I’ll just pull and resubmit.

Mods have declared this illegal, R1. My best guess is it's for this reason:

Take out paragraph 4 of the "Recognizing" clause, and it **should** be legal IMO.

I've removed what I assume to be the offending clause and resubmitted.

I don't vote on SC proposals on principle, but SL is wholly worthy of a commendation and I fully endorse this effort; felt I had to make that known.
